We had no idea that Clint Eastwood was directing the movie version of the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys. We LOVE Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and Clint was smart to cast John Lloyd Young, the Tony winning Broadway star, as Frankie. Hardly a day goes by without Frankie’s falsetto voice echoing in our house. Take a look at that irresistible trailer.

I’m intrigued and bet this will be fun. John Lloyd Young is very talented so I don’t see how it could miss.
I have loved Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons since I was a kid, but I think John Lloyd Young’s voice is way too high to be Frankie. Even when Frankie was singing falsetto, he was nowhere near as squeaky as this kid. I’ll see the movie, and maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
