Jim Belushi has never minded being the center of attention. He took his kids to play ball at a park in Brentwood and they arrived driving a black and white police patrol car! Immediately all the dads and their kids came running over for a close look at the cruiser. Belushi, who has a new series, “The Defenders,” with Jerry O’Connell, probably borrowed the car from the studio. He took delight in demonstrating the siren and the lights and invited all the kids to take turns sitting in the cruiser.

There is something about this man I don’t like. I don’t think he is very far removed from his character on that cheesy sitcom.

A dollar-store version of his brother John, who was – though, unlike Jim, very talented – not all that likable himself.
I never liked him or Jerry O’Connell.
If showing the kids the cop car was done out of thrilling the kids, that was kinda sweet. Maybe there were cameras on them though and it was just for show or to promote their new thing. It wont’ last 2 seasons, maybe 3, (just a prediction).
Yeah Indy, those are two of the most unappealing and unsympathetic actors ever to disgrace Hollywood.

What I want to know is how the “classy, handsome guy” turned out to be O’Connell.

That is supper kind of him to do such a wonderful thing for the children and…It grabbed massive attention from other people and…I bet some people where in shock to see Jim Belushi step out of the Cop Car…Nice and…I hope they took pictures and that way they can always look back and remember those moments together in the future…That is really nice and really sweet and very thoughtful.
I think any kid in this world would love that attention and be very proud to be with there off the hook father and to roll like that and be able to just check out a cool car like that Black and White Police Truck is Smoking kick ass and feeling the wonderful high of having everyone looking at your Rocking Ride is wonderful and exciteing and fun and that is like taking a Double Hit of Fun and Joy all wrapped up in one…What a supper cool and fun Dad…Those children are blessed to have a wonderful father. What a real sweet heart.
