Joan Van Ark and Donna Mills filmed their guest spots on Nip/Tuck this week and it was almost like Knots Landing revisited. There was endless hair and makeup preparation, and a setsider noted that the only things rail-thin Joan consumed all day were several glasses of water with honey and one banana. But most frustrating was the fact that it took FOUR hours to light Joan to her complete satisfaction. That’s longer than it takes to have a facelift AND liposuction.
I think they both look fabulous!
Nip/Tuck sure had a slow start this year. I hope it picks up or I will have to quit watching my all time favorite show.
Wow, Donna looks great. I see her playing tennis at The Beverly Hills Country Club. As for Joan, she’s definitely one of the most effervescent and funny people in town. Her lean, lithe body is hard as rock—no eating disorder there: she is a longtime, dedicated distance runner! (Too bad Michelle Lee & Michelle Phillips weren’t there, too–they’re both gorgeous and vivacious. I’d love to see the ladies of the Knots Landing Cul de Sac take on the Desperate Housewives of Wisteria Lane. I bet they’d kick their butts!)

Not sure who needs their eyes checked here, but the lady on the left looks like she needs a decent meal. She looks like a haggard version of the woman on the right. Just sayin’!

You people are sick and just stupid if you believe that Joan Van Ark looks good! She definitely has an eating disorder and looks AWFUL, like a skinned rabbit. What a freak, no wonder young women are bulimic when idiots like you praise the appearance of skeletons like Joan!
If that is a recent picture of Mills she is still gorgeous. Van Ark does not look well which is probably why it took so long for make up and lighting.
So jealous and hateful that another woman is thin and gorgeous. Joan is an athlete,,,she runs and keep fit through excersize. Don’t hate. She looks great and we are glad to have her back.
I’m just sayin’ Joan’s looked like death warmed over for YEARS now and it’s time someone took her aside and told her to address her eating disorder. She’s using the running thing as a cover-up, she hasn’t been in a marathon (or if she has, it was back in the 80s).
Joan was recently FIRED from The Y&R because of her diva attitude and demands. Lighting was one of the “issues”.

These ladies are in their late 50’s and early 60’s. Nothing natural lookin’ about them.
I’m sick of being shown pix of old ladies and being told how wonderful they look, when in reality we have no idea how they look. They are a figment of their own imaginations (with the help of their surgeon).
They were both gorgeous 20+ years ago when they looked their age. Something’s WAAAY wrong here.

Donna Mills has always been a knockout. she still looks fantastic ! Don’t know how old she is, but she was in Play Misty for Me with Clint Eastwood, back in 1970. She’s got to be about 65 ! VERY HARD TO BELIEVE !Joan Van Ark looks terrifying. Like a piece of dried sausage ! Brown & leathery ! Sorry Joan !
Just checked IMDB. Sorry, the movie was 1971. AND IMDB lists Donna Mills’ birthday as 1940. She’s 67 years old !!!! She must’ve made a deal with the devil !
I thought Donna was going to be 65 in December Joan is 64.That is not a good photo of Joan first of all,I’ve seen her looking better she looks good sometimes and other times bad.
Secondly Joan has ran at least 12 marathons so who ever said she didn’t do them is wrong she runs 10 miles a day.
Thirdly I didn’t think she was fired from Y&R for acting like a diva.I know she does seem obsessed with make-up,hair,ect.
Donna Mills looks good that is a good picture of her though and not of Joan.I’ve seen them bolth quite a bit recently so i know what they look like you can’t really Judge someone by one photo.
Joan is flat-out too bony; she looks like a walking skeleton. About Donna, she looks OK, but I have never heard a word about a ‘significant other’. Is she an “L” or straight? Does she have a boyfriend or ever had a steady in her life. Does anyone know?
