Last weekend John Travolta flew his own plane and visited India for the first time with his daughter Ella, 10. (Pregnant Kelly Preston stayed home.) He was in Mumbai to promote the Breitling watch collection, and according to the local paper brought his own team of hairstylists, makeup artists, and a nutritionist for the two day visit. At the evening ceremony, Bollywood stars tried to coax John into dancing a few steps to music from his 1977 movie Saturday Night Fever, but he politely declined.

Aw, there’s no need to comment about his daughter. Poor thing, God only knows what her life is like with the current news about dad, her brother’s death, the secrecy of their “religion.” I feel really bad for her.

So many people in this world have extremely complicated lives through no fault of their own, because of illness and tragedy, and other bad luck. Why do fools like Travolta and Cruise willfully make such messes of their lives? Sooner or later someone pays. It will probably be their children.

another Janet, Travolta is hardly an innocent victim. If you really dig deep and read between the lines, the son’s death was very suspicious and is linked to Scientology.
Travolta is hardly the equivalent of a parent whose son is killed by a drunk driver, or shot by a street punk.

The least they could do is live the private side of their lives without ANY controversy, and as low key as possible. It’s certainly different if they are single, but once children are in the mix, it’s a different game.
It’s hard enough to be a teen young lady, or young man for that matter dealing with finding your own way. A la Carrie Fisher, etal.

The little girl sure looks like no 10 year old I’ve ever seen. When I was that age, myself and all my friends were small and looked like children. This girl looks as large as her father across the shoulders and in the arms. I hate to say diet so young, but her father has always had the tendancy to gain weight and apparently she has inherited that problem too. But at least John was thin for most of his early career, this child is only 10 and already has issues with her weight. I don’t know why, with all their money, they haven’t put her on a nutritional plan and excercise to change this before she’s damaged permanently. Surely John knows what the girl experiences as an overweight person.
Speaking of Carrie, she has said of her father Eddie Fisher leaving her mother, Debbie Reynolds, for the then-recently widowed Elizabeth Taylor:

Wow. Poor Ella. Guess she didn’t read the human growth index memo that we are all living longer, growing faster, wearing larger clothes sizes than folks who were living at the turn of the century…

City Girl: overweight children are the result (in my opinion) of bad parenting in that the parents buy the food, prepare it, serve it. This child is not in any way responsible for what is put in front of her. Her father has a long term problem with obesity which contributes to the issue I’m sure because whatever HE is eating that causes HIM to be/stay overweight is also easy pickings for a weak-willed (and probably over indulged) young girl. Their son also had a weight problem. It seems that Kelly has been the only family member to maintain a normal (not skinny) body for years. I don’t understand why she doesn’t take it upon herself to help her young daughter now, before the girl reaches the teen years where it is already so hard to exist in today’s world of brutal “honesty” and teasing, bullying, and tormenting children for the slightest of differences.
If she’s a sensitive girl, she could easily be crushed by that type of thing, and just being the daughter of celebrities will not spare her, in fact, it may make the ravenous vultures more vicious. Immature people name call as sport, that’s why they are still “immature!” They just don’t “get it” until it’s too late and then they find out some poor kid killed themselves over the bullying and they can’t believe it. “We only CALLED him GAY, or FAT, or whatever”…it’s all interchangible, and equally as brutal and horrendous. Once those words leave their lips it can’t be unheard (or unfelt).

It is nice to see JT spending time with (and photographed with, which is rare) his lovely daughter. I wish he would leave Scientology, and I believe the public would accept him, if he would only just be truthful and live his life as a gay out man as well as a loving father. No one would care. I feel he is taking so much blame over his son’s death—by his own so-called church—that his health is failing him—hence the need for the team of people that travel with him.

The Time has Passed and it is too late..Even though Travolta still has the moves and on Pulp Fiction…He really Rocked it out and still has Amazing Movements and..Still is an Incredible on the Dance Floor! But no matter what we all have a part of History and that man will alway have the moves and the grooves.
