We always know what Johnny Depp is up to – but do you know what his partner Vanessa Paradis has been doing? She has a romantic comedy called “Heartbreaker” coming out in September. It’s about a man who makes a living breaking up romances. Friends or parents hire him to seduce women and break up ill-advised relationships. He’s an expert, and very well paid until he makes the mistake of falling for one of his assignments. Vanessa looks adorable and we’re looking forward to it.

I love VP and have some of her music. Film would be so much better with an attractive lead guy instead of Wolfman.

I agree vicuna – Paradis is sooo beautiful, and talented. I hope she gets some international attention because of this film. AND, you are right twice! Who is going to buy that guy as someone who can break up a romance? They should have had a George Clooney clone, but chose a old hairy French version of Michael Cera.

What do Madonna and Vanessa have in common? The large space between their two top front teeth.

The gap IS distracting. It works on Madonna (with her Italian peasant quality), but Paradis is too delicate and should have had that fixed.

Reviews of movie and her performance were great! Re the gap: don’t be so shallow. Oh, that’s right – you’re perfect!

May be lone wolf here, but the movie looks like a french Jennifer Aniston commercial flick. Actress is appealing but the flick seems, well, dumb.

Princess: I was merely pointing out a GLARING flaw, the space between her and Madonna’s front teeth. This could easily be fixed; otherwise your eyes are drawn to it, it’s impossible not to be aware of it.

The movie looks pretty good ! BUT I have to admit…the whole time the trailer was playing my only thought was “You can tell this isn’t an American movie, that gap between her teeth would never be allowed, and he’d be replaced with someone handsomer.”
He’s not ugly, and looks good when he smiles, but it wouldn’t work here in the USA. We’re too shallow.

lippp, I agree. And what is with her character’s obsession with Dirty Dancing. That movie is one of the worst cinematic examples of 80’s shallowness, and should be long forgotten.

Debutante: A BIG Amen to that !!!

I don’t like Johnny Depp nor any of his movie nor the fact that he lives in sin. He always looks so morose and somewhat sad.

Indy, “lives in sin”? Are you serious?

Depp and Paradis’ relationship has so far lasted longer than most Hollywood marriages.

I cannot believe there are still people making a fuss about living common law, or for that matter about the idea of gay marriage. They should be more upset by those who make a mockery of marriage by entering into it without any thought or respect.

The whole story is spelled out in the trailer. What’s left to see?
