One of the most noteworthy looks on the red carpet at the Emmys was certainly the tragedy of Mad Men star Jon Hamm. When he appeared onstage as a presenter his big beard dominated the TV screen and on ours it looked like it was dyed black. Yikes! Why do handsome men do this to themselves? Hamm just “decided to stop shaving for awhile.” So we were deprived of a look at his manly face. He’s far too young and attractive to hide behind a beard.

When you get rid of your tacky hair color, then you can criticize other people’s facial hair, makeup, hairstyles, etc.

this is indeed the “Prison-Look”.
I bet he is sick of getting so much attention for being so insanely handsome. The beard probably feels like a much-needed vacation. Good for him.
