Whatever happened to Kat Von D? Since she left her tattoo shop reality show, Kat has gone full tilt into the clothing business. (Above, she’s introducing her line at Pure London, a fashion event for buyers) And tattoos are NOT her inspiration – she says her collection was inspired by “modern romance.“ Click here to see her online fashions. They are actually far more sophisticated and cool that most celebrity designs – part goth, part steampunk, and they remind us of All Saints. And the prices are realistic. Good for her.

The jackets, some in the “Coats” section & some with “Tops”, are quite nice. The rest are not so great.
Her cosmetic line is bargain basement on Sephora sale site. Who would wear those boots? What makes her feel she is a designer?
She is very talented.
I do like some of her pieces. Good for her for branching out and finding a new creative outlet. Only thing I don’t agree with is that the prices are realistic. Realistic for who?
What happened to all the tattos on her face? Photo shopped out?
Everyone wants a clothing line. Few make it past 1 year. Depends entirely on who is backing her and simply “paying” her for her name. She is absolutley nothing more than a front piece, no different than KK, J Lo, Kathie Lee or the others. Probably the clothing line is owned by jews and Kat is getting paid a % for her name and servicing the bosses.
Diva I was thinking that same, doesn’t seem to be enough tattoo’s. She has ruined her looks with all that horrible ink on her. Although I have watched her show in the past, she is definately a talented artist.
I have seen someone who is in their 60’s, that got tattoo’s on their face when they were younger. Not nice at all, make her look very hard.
I’m allowed to be on her paylist?
What if both the egocentric Jesse James and the always beautiful& exceptionally talented Sandra Bullock were actually not a real couple and their marriage was a hoax? What if Kat Von D was just part of the bearding process and it elevated her odd little career?
Oh well, I am sure I am wrong but it just popped in my head.
She may come across as rough & tumble but I think she’s a nice person deep down. The tats have to go & like Cal mentioned, they don’t look attractive after a certain age. I know a friend who got one years ago, a rose on the butt well, let’s just say, gravity has now made it a rose bush graveyard.
