Kate Hudson, 35, almost made up for all those bad movies she’s been making with her appearance at the LACMA Art & Film Gala. She looks drop dead gorgeous – like a classic MOVIE STAR! Which she SHOULD be, at this time of her life, but she makes bad movie choices. She was delightful in her first big role in “Almost Famous” in 2000, but all those lame romantic comedies that followed nearly obliterated her talent. She’s changing her strategy and aiming toward independent films with better scripts these days.

she’s branching out into Yoga-wear and will probably make a killing. Good for her. Clever actress–she’s no Meryl, but she’s no Blake either.
While she’s pretty, I never thought she had much talent as an actress.
