“Titanic” star Kate Winslet has the last laugh – for now. She’s got a hot new model boyfriend and he’s helping to heal the heartbreak over her divorce from director Sam Mendes. Kate, 34, was terribly disappointed when her marriage to Sam crashed and burned last year after they finished the movie “Revolutionary Road.” It leaves her with two children and two ex-husbands. Kate has been quietly keeping company with Burberry model Lou Dowler, 34, and she was seen hanging out with him when he was working on an ad in New York.

I like how some of these successful beautiful women seem to console themselves after a rough patch with some boy-candy. They are not hurting anyone, and doing a nice gender-role reversal. Brava!

I don’t know Sam Mendes, but it’s sad that she’s goine through another marriage and I hope she just stops for a second and think. I love her as an actress.
I love Kate and everything she does. It’s really hard not to like her. She’s classy, smart, and passionate about her work. I was sincerely sad that her marriage didn’t work out. I was certain their marriage would go the distance. Either way, I’m happy she’s putting herself out there again.
Sally, agree about Kate. All being said and agreed upon, don’t you think that whatever went wrong with the marriage, it had to be Sam’s fault? Kate has that Debbie Reynolds quality that makes it impossible to believe that she is capable of doing anything wrong. I bet if she farts it smells like Christmas!

Sebastian, no matter how exceptional two people are and how wonderful their marriage appears to be, there are cracks present. Some can ignore and choose to work on their marriage, but sometimes the cracks are much more visible and much deeper and even the couple can’t get passed the flaws. A marriage usually fails when two people just give up on each other or someone just leaves the other behind.
Either way, it takes two to tango and Kate is so private that we don’t really know. They both have kept mum about their situation so it wouldn’t be fair to blame just one for the marital demise. Kate’s too passionate for Christmas, I think she farts Valentine’s Day, lol.

umm…it appears that this guy’s photo is a magazine shot. duh! i’m sure he shaves in real life, but guys who run out to the store or pick up their dry cleaning, don’t care to shave if they are heading home. and why should they?
