Kathleen Turner, 60, has had her share of problems (arthritis, alcohol) but getting older isn’t one of them. We loved her in “Body Heat” and especially “Peggy Sue Got Married” back in the 80’s when she was a glamour girl, but Kathleen says it’s a relief to be working as an actress now and NOT be dependent on her looks. She says she has embraced aging and no longer tries to turn back the clock. Above, she appeared at the premier of her movie “Dumb and Dumber To,” in which she plays the love interest to Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. We like her attitude, but not her ensemble.

i am glad she is relieved becasue she barely has any anyway…….was she a smoker? she sounds a bit like like harvey fierstein

She could certainly stand to lose 60 or 80 lbs., if not for her looks, then at least for her own health! When I think how sexy and gorgeous she was, there is simply no excuse for this. And no matter what she says, it looks as though she did get some fillers in her cheeks, because she now has that same coathanger-stuck-in-her-mouth grin that Kim Novak has!
Her slacks could be a bit longer, and she could have picked a different shoe, but maybe she feels comfortable in what she’s wearing. I think she’s great. Happy to see she’s in a movie again. Sure she could lose some weight, but so what. My favorite movie was “Romancing the Stone” with Michael Douglas.
She has severe Rheumatoid arthritis, and takes steroids to be able to move her body, that is why she is heavy set.
