What does a mega famous couple do on a quiet Sunday night? Katy Perry and Russell Brand were seen at 8PM meandering down the street holding hands on Larchmont Blvd in LA. (They walked right past us as we sat at La Bottega Marino eating pasta outside.) Russell carried a bag from the Rite-Aid pharmacy and Katy had little or no makeup on, and her hair was mostly pink. She wore a swingy little summer dress. They managed to stroll the street from end to end and window shop and no one paid attention, proving even famous people have slow nights.

Not that I don’t like it but the pattern on Katy’s dress reminds me of the pattern on my Grandmothers couch back in the seventies.

I don’t live in Los Angeles anymore but when I did I used to shop and dine on Larchmont and the truth is, no one I knew gave a crap about seeing celebrities. I mean, maybe you look twice, say “oh, there’s so and so,” and then you go right back to your dinner plate!
Jerry D: That’s exactly how I’ve always been with it. When I had my antique store we had celebs come in fairly frequently but we just treated them like anybody else, let them shop in peace and thanked them as they walked back out the door. I always felt good knowing they could shop in my store and not be hassled, but just be treated like regular human beings.
This marriage is surely doomed.
Good to get away and do something else and be around different people and…It gives them more time together and more pieceful time.
