IMAGINE THAT! KENDALL JENNER THINKS BEING CALLED “SKINNY” IS AN INSULT!

Let’s face it, models and actresses can’t be too skinny. 5’10” Kendall Jenner has been described as “too skinny” by people who have nothing to do with the beauty or entertainment business, and Kendall takes it as an insult – she thinks it’s the same as calling someone “too fat.” Fact is, in Hollywood – ‘too skinny’ – is about the best compliment most women can hear. And “too fat” is one of the worst criticisms. “Too skinny” means a woman’ s hard work in the gym and dieting have paid off and others are noticing, and may be a teensy bit jealous. So wise up, Kendall, and hope that “too skinny” is the worst thing people ever say about you!

  1. Janet you sound like an idiot with this post, seriously. This is officially the first time I have ever agreed with a Kardasian about anything (Jenner, whatever). Color me astounded.

  2. 1) Nobody wants to be called “too” anything. It is inherently a criticism.

    2) “Skinny” and “thin” are not compliments compared to “slender” and “slim”. The latter are both defined as “gracefully thin”, whereas the former are each defined as overly skinny/thin.

    3) “Dieting” is not an admirable pursuit, Janet. Living with a ‘healthy diet’ (noun) is good; ‘I diet’ ‘you diet’ ‘she diets’ (the verb) is not good. Obsessing over food (in excess or in deficit) is the definition of an eating disorder.

Please do not endorse unhealthy attitudes through your misuse of the English language, Janet.

Kendall may be on the thin side, but she’s just a kid. It may take a year or two more for her to catch up to her growth spurt. Let her be, the “too skinny” namecallers!

  3. She looks tall and slender to me. Being slender is not the same as skinny.

  4. Just being part of that family is embarrassment enough. Missyco, so right, slender is not the same as skinny.

  5. Hopefully the family hasn’t pimped her out to BLACKS yet.
