Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron was outraged to hear that noted UK physicist Stephen Hawking is not only an atheist but doesn’t believe there’s a heaven or after-life! He likened the belief to “a fairy tale for those who are afraid of the dark.” Evangelist Kirk, who heads an online ministry “Way of the Master” complained that debating the disabled but brilliant Hawking was like “bullying a blind man.” Irate Cameron squealed “Why should anyone believe Hawking if he can’t prove it?” But Kirk, YOU are the one claiming there IS a God and heaven – the burden of proof is on the one making the claim. We’re LISTENING…..

Mel you’re the unintelligent one here. First of all, you can’t PROVE there is no God you are just assuming and second of all, you are confusing religion with God. Religion is made up to control men, God is not. God is something that just is, it has no purpose. Some argue that the universe itself is God and that we become part of it when we die and that makes sense if you believe Einstein. Every time someone on the internet mentions God all you religion haters show up ranting and raving about the bible showing your own ignorance. There are millions of people who believe in a God but do not follow any organized religion because of the sentiments you expressed about the hypocrisy of it all. Just because I believe in a God doesn’t mean I’m some bible thumping nut and I resent people like yourself trying to lump people like me in with all that.

Religion, per se, just being religious is not the way to get into heaven. Example: Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims. Hare Krishna, are deeply religious, but their beliefs are wrong, as they do not confess Jesus is God come in the flesh, born of a virgin and walked the earth 33 years before being crucified on the cross. Confessing and repenting of your sin to Christ, the only Saviour, believing He died on the cross and rose again and is alive forevermore is the only way to heaven. Not Allah, the Pope, Virgin Mary, Buddha, but Jesus and Him only can save you if you learn Who He really is and then your sins are forgiven and your name is put in the Lamb’s Book of Life. These are definitely the last days, which has just been proven once again, by the false prophet Harold Camping. The Bible says in the last days there will come false prophets.

^^^^Then you can come to Him in prayer with all problems, big and small, knowing He hears you and loves you. Then, when the trumpet sounds, up you go. Amen, end of sermon (maybe).

Christine, Atheists don’t like the concept of God because it entails GUILT which they don’t like because they live amoral lives exploiting others, engaging in promiscuous sex and doing drugs. They don’t want to feel bad about their lifestyles so they get mad when someone comes along and introduces concepts of right and wrong. They are nihilists, pay them no mind and just believe what you want.

I’ve never been a fan, but this time around, I say “Team Cameron”. A scientist can’t prove life after death because it’s all about faith and your beliefs. I’m also Team Jesus. 🙂

Excuse me, Polly, but I’m acquainted with some people who are no more than bacteria.

Wait? Hawkings is using his “wisdom” to interpret scripture yet he’s an atheist? Seriously? That’s like a mechanic interpreting a surgical procedure. Kurt is the surgeon and Hawkings is the mechanic.

Teena, you don’t have a clue as to what you’re talking about. Fuck off and die, won’t you?

Kirk Cameron has always been a self-entitled egotistical spoiled-acting jackass, religious views or no religious views.

One of America’s Sweethearts is battling a serious drug addiction- not hers, but her best friend’s. Through the years these two have been stuck to one another like white on rice and her fame rubbed off on her pal. They’ve been roomies, have worked together on set, and even launched a business venture together. But all that success has come with a price. After years of being sober, the less famous friend has fallen HARD off the wagon and our gal doesn’t know what to do. She’s hosted an intervention, hired an addiction specialist, and even threatened to end the friendship, but nothing seems to work. What’s a girl to do?
