Kirstie Alley is even smarter than she looks. She opened her Organic Liaison diet store in Los Angeles just as she was starting on Dancing With The Stars. All those rehearsals have helped her lose a lot of weight, but she’s crediting her diet products. Kirstie has been on QVC selling her Organic Liaison supplements with great success since she started on DWTS. Besides the sudden popularity of her diet items, she has two offers for new TV series – from HBO and TV Land. Whether or not she’s the last dancer standing in this competition, she’s walking away a winner.

Well she would credit her own product, now wouldn’t she LOL?

And one implication is that though she may have lost weight on Jenny Craig—it all came back, and more, but this new snake oil she’s hawking is somehow better.

    Hmmm. We’ll see.

But sadly, what seems on the face of it like a story of “You go, girl!”-ambition, is, in reality, inextricably tied to Scientology. Enough said.

And hate, hate, HATE the name—which has all the meaningless mumbo-jumbo Operating Thetan bullshit inherent.

Sci Veteran Paul Haggis says that back in the day, the infamous e-meters (around which so much of this stuff is based) were made from—wait for it—Campbell’s soup cans!

They’ve come a long way, eh?

Whatever, she’s been using her products forever and didn’t lose any weight. She can dance though!

Coming soon from Tom Cruise: “Mentalizer Spree III”

“A quick spritz from this completely organic, barley-based aerosol and you’re ready to face whatever challenges life throws your way.”

    And may we recommend:

Mentalizer Spree IV: For those “heavy flow” days.

Mentalizer Spree II: For the “little Thetans” in your life.

Mentalizer Spree I: Suitable for pets and furniture.

But she won’t. Never has. Classic yo-yo syndrome. Just like Janet Jackson… but at least JJ loses it occasionally.

She didn’t lose an ounce from those products, of course it’s all the hours of exercise she’s getting now, how stupid does she think we are

Very smart move on her part, whether it is from the products or “Dancing”. Isn’t that the way most millionaires make their fortunes? The old “slight of hand trick”.

Walt: Thank you, again! The e-meter tidbit was from the lengthy interview Haggis recently gave to “The New Yorker.”

I will admit to having a long memory for all kinds of odds and ends…

including, a bit of blind-item gossip once disclosed on television by our very own Janet Charlton.

    I wonder if she remembers?

It was, hands down, one of dirtiest tips I’d ever heard. Only she could have gotten away with it—given her (and I mean this as the highest compliment) all-American, Midwestern good looks.

The punch line as she delivered it, was, more or less: “And you’ll never believe what he does with the candy bar.” !!!

    Ah, the memories :)

Her diet items are experiencing a “sudden popularity”? Where do all these questionably intelligent people derive the disposable income to throw away on so much junk? The same goes for people who flock to buy anything associated with the Kardashian name. AS IF Kirstie isn’t going to start piling on the weight again not long after DWTS finishes. You know she is.

I disagree with who said she was a good dancer. All she does is float around waving her arms. And you know that move where the star lies down and the pro brings her thru his legs and back again. lol….if Maks tried to do that with Kirstie, his back would be out like forever. I think all the demons of hell (alias Scientologists) are voting for her, at the request of faggot John Travolta and tiny hitler Tommy Cruise. And the supposed 30 lbs. she has lost will be doubled if and when she gets voted off. I don’t think the # of votes really matters; the bigwigs are keeping her on because everyone (esp. fatties) will feel better about themselves seeing a portly gal doing so well. lol.

The picture above must have been photoshopped because she looks much larger on the show. In fact, the last dance she did I was amazed by how HUGE she looked and her legs looked like elephant legs. She should only be put in long dresses. Those things are hideous. And her ass looks bigger to me, in fact i have heard mumblings on the internet that she has actually GAINED weight since she started on the show and I agree. She looks MUCH bigger to me.

She does have huge legs & obvioulsy it’s the exercise only that made her lose weight. Wait until she gets the boot from the show and start counting the days until she blows up.

I remember hearing that she got rid of all her exercise equipment after she lost the weight the last time.

Did she think the weight was just going to majically stay off after doing that?

libby…..rotflmao…..I figure Scientology has so taken over her brain that she really basically don’t know what the hell she’s doing.

She will NEVER get all the weight off or keep off what she did get off because she hasn’t faced what and how she got that fat to begin with. She is obvously an emotional eater and lies to herself about what and how much she eats. A great example of this is the HUGE lies she has told the public for YEARS. One was when she came on Oprah supposedly having lost 75 pounds (yeah, riiiiiight!) and being in a ‘bikini’ while laughingly being held in place with some sort of industrial strength nylon full body red shear thing with a seam up the entire front, which she flashed briefly as she came out and tossed back the long coverup and then quickly covered herself right back up fully again because she thought she could do a magician’s trick of sleight of hand and fool the eye into believing it saw her thin. (No one’s eye was “fooled” by the way).

Jenny Craig fired her huge ass. And she has constantly been pictured by the tabs hogging down on fast food with her giant swollen ankles hanging out of the car door as she pigs out, not being able to even wait til she gets home.
    She really disgusts me.

And don’t forget the studio lighting they used for that show.

Kirstie looked like a HOLOGRAM. It was priceless.

people just try to make every which article to start crap. in interviews she’s done on DWTS she’s clearly said that her product, which gives her a lot of energy, (which by the way she hasnt been using forever because it took her 2-3 years to develop and has been using like less than a year)combined with the rigorous exercise of dancing have helped her slim down…so the article is just trying to make things up to instigate. And obviously people are eating it up.

Thanks, eapoe2b—the image of a lab-coat-wearing Kirstie, mixing ingredients, injecting animals, going back to the drawing board, etc. is too funny.

If it took two years to bring her product to market, somehow I don’t think it was because she was perfecting the formula.

Whatever. This is how she is currently making a living and best of luck with that. But these things tend to come and go. And Kirstie’s special blend of grapefruit seed extract, guarana root, caffeine, etc. will probably have its day, too.

But they’re called “fad diets” for a reason.

Anybody still have their deck of “Deal A Meal” cards, courtesy of the mind of perennial dieter Richard Simmons?

Oh, but our favorite was “The Beverly Hills Diet.” Remember it? You could always tell the people who were on that one because they’d be towing a little Porta-Potty behind their car. :)
