Insiders say that “Dancing With The Stars” contestant Kirstie Alley is exhausted from long and rigorous rehearsals directed by her stern taskmaster/partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Maks is a serious competitor and wants to WIN, so he’s using every trick to motivate Kirstie. Telling her she danced “like a grandma” didn’t work. Kirstie is not accustomed to being bossed around, so this could be a turbulent pairing. Apparently her feet are already hurting so much she’s going barefoot.

Well, Pippa, yes we do, at least yes we DID. Not sure who will watch this next season though; the cast sucks big-time. In the photo above Maxsim ain’t looking so hot! So scratch off another reason for not tuning in.

Jerry, if she doesn’t drop out BEFORE the show starts, she soon will be either voted out or will go out on “medical” issues. People are going to tune in for the true train wreck that is and has been Kirstie Alley for most of her “career”/life. She’s a rip-roaring nutcase firstclass, is NEVER going to be slim/normal sized EVER again, and has a horrible warped cackle that matches her crooked warped facial features. Good casting if you want to continue the downward spiral joke this show has become. Like I said before, get some “real” STARS like your title says ABC!

Re: DWTS: I miss Julianne Hough most of all, you know…that prudish little Mormon who claims she is pure, but has already been engaged 2 or 3 times and is now shacking w/ Ryan Fagcrest.
Kirstie and Maks will get into araguments very soon and who knows if they told them to for the ratings, or if it’s for real. I can hear her whining now.
Kirstie can go to the Scientology Center every day after practice and soak her aching dogs in some special elixir whipped up by the demons who run the joint, and at a cost of only a few thou$and.
Well, contrary to popular opinion. I have to give it up for Kirstie Alley to put herself out there. It certainly can’t be easy, being so overweight while learning to dance in front of millions of people.
Not like that cheater Jennifer Grey who won last year. With all of her dance experience, she should not have been able to participate. I wish Kirstie a lot of luck!! And yeah, she will need it.

I’m hoping Kirstie stays around a while on the show for the drama with Maks if nothing else. And she wouldn’t be the first overweight dancer on the show. I can also imagine she’ll give Bruno and Len a run for their money with the comments and criticisms.
Yes, the scientology cult freak called Kristie does look decent for 60 but she does have lots of $$$$ (money = plastic surgery, botox and everything else) to look younger than her age. Also, She needs a haircut. Much shorter and layered to the shoulders. It would give her a softer look.
She actually looks thinner than I have seen her in awhile. Hope she does lose more weight and get healthy. Gotta keep her healthy so she can work and give the friggin cult more income.
She’ll probably be in the cult for life (like delicate John Travolta and Tom Cruise). I find that incredibly sad and disturbing.
Why are all you people saying she looks good “for 60”. That is NOT that old, unless you’re the new crop of Kardashian/Jenner girls or Beiber nuts.
Also, I don’t think she’s ever done anything to her horribly naturally deformed face. it started out crooked when she first arrived on the scene and it still is. It’s just really hard to look at, esp when she’s jawing her raspy voiced witch sound. The whole thing together, now adding “dancing” in most likely overly flowy covering tents with sequins and her hideous over dyed head of hair, well…it’s just too too much already and it hasn’t even started!
PS: do you think Maks, following behind her like that wishes someone would run up and poke his eyes out?
Wow, I have always thought and have heard many men say how hot Kirstie Alley is…not her body at this point but her face…she has a gorgeous face, especially her eyes.
Selene, you must be looking thru one of those Disney screens that warps things. Well, maybe if you just blocked out her whole face and body and let the eyes show you might have something there. Yeah, I might go along with her having pretty eyes, at least when she was younger. But her personality is in them now and that is bat shit crazy as everybody says now. Fits her well!
I wish Kristie Alley well on DWTS. I give her credit for getting out there. It’s got to be very physicall demanding, so give credit where credit is due. I like her feisty personality and I hope she mixes it up with Maxim and the judges.
What in the world happend to her gorgeous husband? He divorced her and was never heard from again. Did she eat him or sit on him?
I always heard rumors that both she and her exhusband were gay, their kids are adopted (not that that means anything)

Kirstie may be dieting like crazy getting ready for the show which begins I think on March 21. On the other hand, she may be eating more calories in order to have the energy to get thru her routine. Whatever the case, there will be millions tuning in. Is Vegas taking bets that she will lose or gain weight during her (tiny) amount of time there? DWTS has totally taken over A.I. and surpassed it according to various surveys.
