KRISTEN STEWART: BEFORE “TWILIGHT” THERE WAS “THE YELLOW HANDKERCHIEF”

Kristen Stewart plays a fifteen year old in “The Yellow Handkerchief” which is being released this month. She was only seventeen when she filmed the movie and that was before “Twilight.” You can see why she was hired to play Bella. It’s something of a road movie with captivating, believable and rather sympathetic characters, who are all looking for love. It turns out to be quite a romantic story and a really satisfying movie. Above, Maria Bello, William Hurt, and Kristen, at the premier.

  1. Why does she always seem to have a rather sullen, beligerant look on her face? You’d think she’d be appreciating the breaks coming her way of late, but from the look I always see on her face, it doesn’t look like she’s much impressed with her success. Pity.

  2. As Reta said, she always looks sullen. I guess I would to if I was so plain looking and had a tiny sharp-pointy chin. ( A chin much like that of Reese Witherspoon).

  3. someone looks like she’s been dippin’ into the twinkies a little too much! time for some EXERCISE k-stew!

  4. I think she’s cute (Kristen Stewart), but not the world’s greatest actress;-) She does seem to do “pissy” rather well. I get the impression that she thinks it’s all bs and resents having to do PR & etc., but I have no proof.
