Left: Here’s Lisa Edelstein (she plays Dr Lisa Cuddy, the hospital administrator on House) and her mom at the L.A Confidential pre-Emmy party at The Cabana Club. She’s WAY more glamorous in person than her TV character. Lisa and her family just got back from a vacation in Israel visiting relatives and she was surprised and flattered when papparrazi picked up her scent there and followed her everywhere. Her family was very impressed!
Right: At the same party I started pondering “Are all the photogenic darlings in Hollywood getting record deals these days? First Paris, followed by Nicole Richie, of course, and now Bai Ling. Bai introduced her record producer named Poet (left in photo) and he told me the music she’s recording is “rather goth , almost spoken word- like Portishead.”
I don’t’ care what those mags say – I get a huge kick out of the way Bai Ling dresses. She livens up every party.
Spare us your ambitions, Ms. Ling, the world is already too full of crappy CDs by American Idols & its progeny. Also, we can do without you displaying your beef curtains in public.

Jane – all those wannabe rock stars show suck and so do the contestants. The current generation lacks originality, soul and talent and I don’t buy any music after 1995 for that reaason.
Lucas is BY FAR the best fit for Supernova, yes Toby the chick magnet is good and yes Dilana is awesome, but lets face it, Supernova would have to revamp their tunes to accommodate a woman lead singer …that wont happen….Ryan? See ya..he was too mean looking to be a lead singer…Magni? He is good and will do well in his home country…I wish all of the Rockers the best and will be looking forward to hearing Lucas on the radio! GOOOOOOOOO LUCAS BAYBEE!!!!
