La Toya Jackson surprised Cannes filmgoers by showing up for the premier of a South Korean dramatic movie in competition called Burning. She happily posed with people involved with the movie (she’s not) in a black leather gown (!) with a long train that needed constant adjustment. A woman followed her on the red carpet on her knees, spreading it out. We can’t help but notice that perhaps the skirt slit was too high for the petite La Toya because apparently the top five inches were hastily sewn together in an amateur manner. But she still manages to look quite pretty.

Everyone that came out of the Joe Jackson clan is strange. Lots of talent from her sister Janet and brothers (Jackson 5) but they are an odd bunch. I’m thinking that maybe it was the creepy dad.
How does 62 year old Latoya make a living? What does she do? Did she ever sing? I remember years ago she was married to an old guy.
