In February, Lady Gaga, 31, canceled the rest of her world tour because her fibromyalgia was causing her too much pain. She’s been experimenting with treatments to help her feel better and her fiancé Christian Carino, 49, is taking good care of her. He is, after all, her agent at CAA, so her well-being is of importance to both his business and personal life. Lucky Gaga found a guy who can tour WITH her (that’s his business) and take care of all the details. They were seen together at Starbucks in Malibu and she looks quite content.

Hmmm.
When we last checked in with LG and her affianced, we were skeptical. Time hasn’t changed our opinion, and yet we can’t pinpoint why, exactly, this doesn’t seem a good match.
Though we hope for LG’s sake that we are 100 percent wrong, it’s hard not to judge this particular book by its cover.
Is it the child-bearing hips that denotes untrustworthiness? No, not the same as in the glaring case of Piers Morgan’s 42-inch neck, say.
No, it’s something else, less obvious. We WILL say that mixing one’s business with “pleasure” is NEVER a good idea, and leave it at that.
“But, but”–you will say, “Look at Weese Ritherspoon and her her agent-husband! They seem happy!”
Well, we will respond, that’s how Weese rolls (that is, with maximum inauthenticity), so it’s not a fair comparison.
Though LG seems to have come a long way from her days of trying to make lunch-meat dresses into haute couture, she does seem to still be plagued by insecurity–and a gnawing need for attention.
She certainly professed undying love in her last relationship–in which she may have been an unwitting, and therefore pathetic, beard; so, who knows whether this relationship with the supposed business Svengali is the real thing?
