LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have been enduring a number of bumps in the road since they fell in love and left their mates for each other. Leann’s divorce is final, but Eddie’s is still pending and he recently lost his job on “CSI: Miami” when his contract was not renewed. This month the lease was up on his apartment and he moved into Leann’s house. Not only does LeAnn have to support an unemployed actor, but she knows that his Catholic parents do NOT approve of their relationship and consider her a homewrecker. Eddie is hoping to change their minds before he and LeAnn wed.

Never mind Scientology and Kabbalah, Catholicism in its current state is much more F**ked up. It is full of men (priests and mamma’s boys) who are never held accountable for their pathetic and/or disgusting behavior, and the enablers who support them.
ALL religions are fucked up Sebastian. What’s new? Take a good long look around the world and see what religion has and is doing to the planet and its people. It’s neverending. As long as people need a crutch to lean on, or a book of rules to tell them how to live so they won’t have to think for themselves or take credit for their own lives, we’re screwed.
And, by the way, these two, with their squinty eyes, look more like brother and sister than boyfriend and girlfriend, but I think some of the religions might groove on that too! Start dancling with your snakes Eddie and Leann!

ITA Sebastian. LeAnn had nothing to do with Eddie’s marriage…that was between him and his wife, and only one of them could affect the outcome. It is so “Jerry Springer” when people claim that someone else can wreck a marriage and call people ‘home wreckers’…did she rope and hogtie Eddie…no…he made the decision to cheat, and it’s easier for his ex-wife (or current wife) to say it was someone’s fault, other than the person who did the cheating in ‘their’ marriage…Eddie. BTW, Eddie had been cast on a new show…he’s not jobless.

So agree with your post. I’m so tired of certain women being called “homewrecker”. SO STUPID. Nobody has that much power. It seems like these people who do leave their families already had one foot outside the door and are waiting for an opportunity to leave.
I think any parent would be upset if their child cheated and broke up a marriage. Religion has nothing to do with it. As far as Eddie and Leann go, live and let live. It’s their problem.

I disagree that the other woman isn’t at fault when a man decides to cheat. I personally know women who intentionally go after married men for the challenge of it. The harder a man is to lure away from his wife the more they want him. No marriage is so great that a man cannot be tempted in a moment of weakness like a few drinks and being on business trip or something. I’m sorry but if you intentionally go after a married person you are a total scumbag.

I know everyone has been breathlessly waiting for my wise and insightful take on this mess. lol. They are both adulterers/cheaters. Period. I do not, however, think they are guilty 50/50. One or the other of the parties had to make the ‘first move’…there is always a beginning, tho maybe subtle; one of them made the first overture (so to speak). So, this may be more of a 60/40 ratio, whoever launched the start of the affair would of course be the ’60’. We will never know for sure who started the ‘harmless’ flirtation. The so-called fact that both marriages were essentially over anyway is not a valid point. They were still legally married. Call me old-fashioned, I don’t care. Call me a person full of wisdom would be a good choice. lol

Any hyper-conservative religion, or off-shoot of a religion can attract people who are in denial or want to hide from something. Hence the Catholic priest pedo problem, and all the Evangelical pastors who are anti-gay, but are caught trying to get hand-jobs or blow-jobs in public washrooms.

So, therefore, I can say with certainty the following: Regarding adulterers and cheats like Eddie and LeAnn who live in this manner and unrepentant, GOD will get them and pay them back sooner or later, maybe tomorrow, maybe in a month, but they WILL see trouble. What’s the big deal America? These two were in unhappy marriages and met and decided to get their freak on. Let them live and have a little fun enjoying one another’s bodies for awhile. They will tire of each other in six months and then start over again.

Indy, we are of like mind. I left the Catholic church because I could not stand the hypocrisy (and this was long before the pedo-priest scandals). I now loosely follow Taoism, because it preaches cynicism, and the shunning of “the crowd”.

I really Love EC & LR so much but I don’t understand how his parents can say she is a homewrecker. What is he? I am a Catholic also. I am not perfect but if they see that their son is in Love and happy doesn’t that count for something? That is what they should want for him.
