Shopkeepers beware: Chris Crocker (remember the sobbing Britney fan who became a web darling?) may be headed your way! And not necessarily to BUY something! Here’s what we were told happened at American Apparel on Robertson: Chris came in and grabbed some things to try in the dressing room – among them a pair of shorts, legwarmers and gloves. (No, he didn’t select the Lindsay Lohan shiny leggings.) He didn’t buy anything and after he left, the clerk discovered the legwarmers and gloves were MISSING and their pricetags were stuffed in the pocket of the shorts Chris had tried on! Later on, a salesclerk saw Chris in the street and confronted him, but he denied everything. We’re guessing Chris has sticky fingers like Winona Ryder. Do you suppose he has oxycontin in HIS purse too?
