LOOK WHO’S TALKING ABOUT JOHN TRAVOLTA BEING THE LOVE OF HER LIFE

Fellow Scientologist Kirstie Alley is desperately trying to save John Travolta’s reputation and ego by claiming her former “Look Who’s Talking” costar was “the love of my life!” A decade after Travolta’s success in “Grease” and “Saturday Night Fever,” he and Kirstie paired up for the family comedy and it was a surprise hit. Kirstie told Barbara Walters that there was an instant attraction and they were CLOSE to hooking up but she controlled her passion because she happened to be married to Parker Stevenson. Hmmm… And, of course, John’s pilot Doug Gotterba says this is around the same time they had their 6 year affair. Nice try Kirstie. Will Jenna Elfman be next to tout a romance with John?

  1. The running joke on the (thinly disguised biographical) Hollywood parody “Fat Actress” was her character’s ex-husband being gay…
and she was the last to know.

  2. she was the love of my life, seriously. She hooked me up with a lot of underage boy toys that I lover her for ever!

  3. who are they trying to kid!!! 🙂 oh to be a fly on the wall at the meeting when this was discussed!!!!

  4. Two very screwed up scientologists. I’ve always disliked her for some reason.

  5. She has always seemed to be the ultimate in phoniness, couldn’t tell the truth at gun point.

  6. Janet – we both know this is a bunch of crap! It’s common knowledge around Hollywood about Travolta’s sexcapades and has been for years. An old friend of mine had a roommate who was a limo driver in the 1980s and he DATED Travolta during that time. He would cook dinner for Travolta and one time Travolta drove to their dinner date on Curson Avenue in Hollywood in a Rolls wearing sunglasses at 8pm! He was secretive but still acted the movie star even then! This was in 1985.

  7. I, too, would have liked to be a fly on the wall at that meeting. Parker Stevenson plays on the same team? 🙂

  8. Kirstie is a SCIentologist – so not good.

I feel sorry for her because she has been blinded by the brain-washing cult. But also I feel sorry for her because she is like a little lost kid. eg. Frenchkissed Tom Bergeron on DWTS. eg. She keeps many domestic and exotic animals at her mansion, 3 or 4 llamas being the most bizarre. eg. She cannot find a man. eg. She thinks her long blowsy hair is still sexy. eg. She is constantly losing the battle of the bulge.

Most of all though is the SCIentology thing.

  9. these scientologist are really weirdo’s.
so why is it all those men, who believe in this movement, are all GAY or at least 50 percent?

and now the women related to them are trying to save their *SS.

……….but katie left this scene just in time!!

  10. come on Christine !!!

What religion is not a “brain-washing cult” ?, don’t be so bloody thick.

to most of the educated world at least, an old white robed man in the clouds ( your dude, Mr.God ) , is the exact equivalent of that silly Scientology figure head ( Mr.Xenu ).

You really should give this prostletzing thing a rest, it’s just silly, childish really, and as delusional as pretending that you’re thin …

    the Bible=Koran=Vedas=Dianetics=Torah ….. ad nauseum … yawn
save the comic book scripture reply.

    As if …

  11. dear @Christine

What fraction of Muslims were not raised in a Muslim environment? What fraction of Christians were not raised in a Christian environment? What does it say about the validity of religious claims that people typically take on the religion of their culture?

When someone gets a religious vision, why does it have elements from that person’s religion and not some other religion? Why do Hindus not get visions of Mary or Jesus or Christian angels, and why do Christians not get visions of Hindu gods?

To avoid the charge of “special pleading”, Christians must argue that they were just extraordinarily lucky to have been born in a place and time in which the correct religion happened to be available.

Religion is like language. I speak English bcause I was raised in England. I didn’t evaluate all the languages of the world before I picked the best one; it was just part of my environment.

Any Christian will tell you that babies born to Muslim parents are almost exclusively Muslim for no more profound reason than that they were raised in a Muslim environment.

Why should it be any different for babies born to Christian parents?

Christians aren’t Christian because Christianity is true, but because they were born into a Christian environment. Christianity is a cultural trait, not a reflection of the truth.

give it a bloody rest, please

  12. To the one or two above: I did not mention Christianity in any shape form or fashion. I just said SCIentology is bad, worse, worst, to which most ALL of Janet’s readers have agreed. Maybe you are pleading for a lesson?

Regarding the Christian church: A person can totally leave at any time (or change entire denominations, such as Methodist to Baptist) and they will not be harrassed. Try to leave SCI after a number of years of giving big bucks and you will be harrassed endlessly. I have read cases like this.

  13. The inference was plain @Christine, but I guess, as usual you’ve missed it.

You mention “your” brand of faith far too much, in a context really unsuitable, and usually in a very incongruous way, it’s a bit like bringing a welding torch to a tea party or tracking some toilet paper under your shoe for a day.

Sure, you’ve the right to do it, but it’s become just like Strom’s army of anal fluid enablers, and has the same effect.

  14. It’s just a case of one Sciento covering other Sciento’s ass.I don’t believe one word she says.

  15. @ Strumpet’s Trumpet

“pretending you’re thin”. FYI, I am exactly 2 and 1/2 pounds overweight. And why would you care? Other than that, I discern you are full of hate and would no doubt like to beat the snot out of me because deep down you know I am correct on everything and very very discerning.

  16. Christine India. You are so judgmental.

Judge not lest he be judged.

Now as to Kirstie, does this mean she is a lezbot?

  17. @Christine ” you discern”,

that’s quite funny really, as I’ve not seen any evidence of that ability so far in anything you have written.

Just the usual sad, angry and envious posts criticizing people’s looks or choices, or either ridiculous and religiously intolerant commentary.

as people have said, ” give it a rest “

  18. he’s at least capable, if absurdly in denial, she’s just another highly marketable, one trick pony

  19. To Strumpet’s Trumpet:
Prostletzing?!? Really?? I would recommend that you buy a dictionary, look it up on the web, or try a smaller word more suited to your apparently stunted intellect. The word p-r-o-s-e-l-y-t-i-z-i-n-g.

  20. Why is she even bothering…everyone already knows its a fact! It just makes her lose even more credibility.

  21. She’s always been an insatiable, greedy, bully.. but I think she is really helping the wife whom she has pity for her silent suffering .. not John.

  22. Miss Eva, really ? I suspect it was a typo, you know, like fattie instead of fatty …

that’s you’re observation ? instead of your obseravtion, she wasn’t croitizing language, but content ( all errors intentinal dummi )

rather sophomoric dont or don’t you think ?

  23. she is trying so hard to stay relevant by writing a book and commenting on other celebrities. I totally agree with the others who said she is just a “beard” for Travolta. Nothing she says can erase all the accusations people have made against John – he is gay and I guess his wife just loves the lifestyle and puts up with him.
