Madonna has a new mission: to end ageism. And women everywhere should back her up on this. Madonna is 56 and she endures horrible insults because of the way she dresses. She says she has no intention of changing her style because she’s no longer in her 20’s. While it’s not socially acceptable to discriminate against gays or blacks, somehow it has become okay to criticize women’s looks and choices as they get older. Not men, just women. “It’s still a sexist society.” She’s right.

Race and orientation are not an “outfits” that can be changed on a whim.
Her entire life has been lived for the “effect” it has on others. It is her right to dress like an aged bondage hooker if she wants to. It is also my right to think she is a a creepy and desperate looking. I haven’t listened to her music since the 80’s and I am sure she is heart broken because of it.
Her current wealth and past success allow her the freedom to behave in this way. Without the money it would be a very different story.
