MARC CHERRY FIRED NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN – CAN HE FIRE TERI HATCHER TOO?

We might be responsible for saving Teri Hatcher’s job on “Desperate Housewives!” This became apparent when Nicollette Sheridan filed her lawsuit against ABC for “wrongful termination.” Nicolette claims that the series creator Marc Cherry whacked her in the face when she questioned the script. Cherry supporters claim “He was prepping her for a scene involving a slap.” (The Winona Ryder excuse) Nicollette complained to ABC and apparently they swallowed the scene prepping story and found no merit to her claim. Her character was killed off not long after. Nicollette claims Marc was also abusive to Teri Hatcher, who also complained to ABC. Last summer we heard that Teri’s character was about to be written off the show too! Teri CAN’T be fired now, because that would strengthen Nicollette’s lawsuit. Cherry, who is accused of “gender violence” is described by our source as “Mercurial – and he doesn’t think some of his actors are as GRATEFUL as they should be. He thinks he did them a big favor by hiring them.”

  1. plase day, ATRACT BACK TO BASIC AMERICANS.
    ……….not this trash!!

  2. Marc Cherry is an idiot. He should have fired wooden-faced no-talent Teri Hatcher instead of Nicollette. Nic is a great actress and brought some oomph to the show. Now that she is gone, the show is going down too, and fast.

  3. When MC hired these women he launched their second ‘middle age careers’ but that’s no excuse to abuse them with his uncontrollable anger and physical violence? I’m sure all these gals became creepy pre-madonna’s lending half truths to this story. Should MC be punished (probably); should ABC pay 20 MILLION dollars….NO!

  4. Someone please explain the appeal of this show. It is a bad prime-time soap opera, populated by third-rate actresses who – because they are aging and under-weight – look like cadavers. I know it once captured the zeitgeist, but is that enough?

  5. why is this show still on? Too many divas on that show, MC included.

  6. MC should have fired the writers of Brothers and Sisters. Now, there’s a show that’s whiny and sucks.

  7. Teri can’t act, yet she won an award. Also, that blank faced plumber she is married to on the show should be killed off.

  8. I’ve never watched this show & don’t remember watching much of Nicolette, but my friends & fam in the industry all say that Cherry is a 1st class misogynist & that he has treated a lot of his actresses badly & that the slap did indeed happen; altho, some of the staff have been ordered to deny to tmz, and have done so, becuz they’re afraid of losing their job. Everyone is talking about this story & a lot of people are pissed at abc & cherry. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some nasty blowback to cherry’s career.

  9. I still watch the show and still love it. It’s very entertaining. I was glad when Nic got killed off because she was the least believable of the women. Here acting sucks and is too over the top and extreme. I just wish they’d quit bringing new characters on, and wasting time on them, and stick to the main families.

  10. Getting rid of Edie (Nicole) was the beginning of the end for DH. Cherry writes for the people on the show he likes instead of for the audience/true fans that originally loved DH! Cherry killed his own show!

  11. MC is a big fat diva, who should focus more on writing more consistent shows, and maybe going to therapy to work out some of his issues. Otherwise he is just going to crap all over whats left of his show with his insecurities and ego. We get it you are gay, unattractive and came from nothing, get over it!
The problem in LA is that people get money but with money they can’t buy substance.

  12. These women have had long standing careers in Hollywood and that show would not exist if it werent for them so this d-bag is going to have to pay up real soon, sit tight ladies
