Nick Cannon can finally celebrate Mariah Carey’s pregnancy publicly. They’ve been struggling to keep it a secret as long as possible because Mariah is superstitious and already had a miscarriage. According to a friend “Nick is like a girl – he wanted Mariah to have a baby right after they got married. He likes kids and feels like this cements their marriage.” The happy couple is deliberately vague about the delivery date – “sometime in the Spring.”

I am very happy for her! I know how very tough the path of infertility is — and I also know the weight gain that happens comes when docs put folks like Mariah on all sorts of steroids… done so that the fetus doesn’t expel itself.
Guiliana Rancic needs to take a lesson from Mariah: if you truly want a baby, deal with the fact that you’re gonna GAIN WEIGHT, and take steroids if you need to.
It also helps that Nick Cannon is only 30 — young sperm, just like young eggs, are much healthier. That’s why sperm banks like undergraduate and grad students… 🙂
The worst part (imho) of being a celeb is when you are in the ‘family way’ to be harrassed unmercifully and have to finally admit that you are expecting. Celebs in no way can buy peace and quiet and I’m glad I am not one and always under scrutiny. It would be nice tho to have their big money

I really have no idea if Nick is gay. If people can provide specific gossip that would back up their claims, that would help. Nick is a good dresser, and is young looking for his age (even for an African-American), but that is hardly justification to assume he is gay.
the underground gossip sites say Nick is on the down low and a beard for Mariah (who is bi). Perfect business arrangement! I think the contract also stipulates that he holds her umbrella and her glasses of champagne.

Nick does not have multiple obviously phoney marriages behind him, does not belong to a cult infamous for promising to cure homosexuality, was not seen out and about with trophy girl-friends, does not over-do the lady’s man swagger or macho posturing, and has not been directly linked to other men. These are all things I would see as signs he is indeed gay. If Nick is on the down low, he is being very smart about it.
People going on about someone being gay, without the slightest hint of evidence is pretty weird. It does border on bullying and character assasination.

Cinnabon and whoever else: I have read somewhere (2 separate times) that they are BI, but must admit I can’t remember where. so I guess this is where the word ‘gossip’ applies. Oh, one of them might be at ‘the daily beast’.
I’ve never read anywhere that Nick cannon is bi, even on black sites. I’ve heard of Mariah dabbling so far with with only one person.
SebastianCanada- first of all it isn’t bullying or character assassination if you think being gay or bi is a positive. It’s just pointing out someone’s sexual orientation (which could indirectly help a lot of gay people/teens who feel alone). Just because Nick doesn’t fit into the downlow categories you mention above, doesn’t mean he isn’t –or maybe no one really cares that much about him or his past. I read this on multiple sites a long time ago. As for Mariah, look up her and Da Brat.

I do disagree RE bullying. I think forcing a role on someone with no justification is in essense what bullying is. If there is absolutely no evidence that someone is gay, it is bullying to label him a homosexual. It is not that the gay label is offensive, but labeling someone something he is not is a mind game and a form of abuse. It is like when someone intentionally calls a person by the wrong name on purpose, or “chooses” to believe a false detail. It is mental torture.
I’ve thought of him as being gay. He just seems more servant than husband. She just a moose on the loose gaining weight as we talk.
If every couple that consists of a “moose on the loose” and a smaller youthful-looking and gormless husband (I refer to these couples as spider-couples), means that the husband is gay, then I know a whole load of gay guys.
Those couples are just a type, and not a unique one either. They must be the result of some sort of intuitive genetic selection by both partners.

I’m torn on this one. If we’re talking about everyday people I agree about the bullying aspect. But these are celebs who put themselves in a position to be judged and scrutinized. If what I said was bullying than all gossip sites are bullies. All gossip sites present information that may or may not be true.
On that note, besides past gossip sites alleging that Nick might be gay, I always focus on who celebs have dated -and who those people have dated. Nick was engaged to Selita Ebanks. Selita appears to be a popular beard. Proof: She has also been linked (linked, meaning her PR people spread the word) with: Maxwell (can you say how you doin), Kanye (come on, please) and Nick Cannon. I’m just sayin…where there’s smoke there’s usually fire/flames.

Each time I see his pic he has his shame face on. Google his pic to where he was with Selita Ebanks and he had a really honest happy face. This marriage is nothing but a money motivated business transaction.
Nick seems like a really sweet guy and Mariah is very lucky to have him. He appears to be very devoted to her. So glad she got away from that abusive Tommy Mattola.
I hope their baby will be more mature than them. Mentally they’re both 10 years old.
