MARY J BLIGE THOUGHT GETTING AN EDUCATION WAS A SNAP

Mary J Blige was a high school drop out, but recently a New York high school showed respect for her accomplishments by presenting her with an honorary high school diploma. Mary was flattered and immediately announced that she would be attending Howard University this fall in pursuit of a bachelors degree. Apparently she naively thinks that getting an education is simple and uncomplicated when you’re a celebrity! No cramming for tests or worry about grades is necessary. When the news was checked out with Howard University, school officials were embarrassed to admit that she had NOT been accepted as a student and in fact had not even applied for admission. Details! Details! Somehow we doubt that an “honorary high school diploma” would be enough to get into ANY college. Being a celebrity DOES open a lot of doors – does that include doors to a university?

  1. Nice tin foil dress and sailor tats! Oh just give her the honorary degree already and get it over with. I seem to recall Kelsey Grammer being given an honorary doctorate some time ago, so now he is Dr. Kelsey Grammer…yeah…riiiight! Seems to me it completely makes a mockery of the people who actually go to school for years and study and put the work in when these dimwits get handed a piece of paper that means NOTHING just because they happen to have made themselves famous for SOMETHING other than being a brilliant student.

  2. Damn, Reta, you are on this site 24/7. You need to get a man or a woman, so you can get laid. Stat!

  3. MJB is another pea brain….actually it is well known that she was giving up mucho big booty to Mike Tysonback when he was between wife 1-2-3….at least Mike was happy to troll over on the ghetto side of the tracks and pick up the ho’s like MJB who only the brothers would glance at. No telling what the number of diseases she got from the Mike encounters.

  4. Mary J. Bilge-water. Just buy a degree on the internet, $50 or thereabouts.

  5. I like her music but she promotes animal cruelty as a fur idiot so I will never buy anything she is involved in. If she needs an education I suggest she learn about the cruel industry that she supports just so she can be shallow and look “fly”… That “Fine” song makes me sick because I always imagine her singing about how her life is fine while an animal’s life is torture thanks to selfish consumers like her.

  6. Aw come on now.. Sylvan Tutoring Experts can whip her into shape for college in no time.. All she needs is time and cash.. Snicker..

  7. Joe, I’m with you 100% with the exception of liking her “music”….and RTD2…don’t worry baby…I HAVE a man and he’s quite talented in the lovemaking dept, and we do manage to keep each other pretty busy in that regard. I do NOT “need to get laid” because I already AM, but thanks for your concern, and I hope you’re getting some too and it’s just as groovy as what me and my man get busy with!

  8. This is the same idiot who tweeted about someone questioning her “intelligents”. I’ve never liked this woman. An arrogant(I know this first-hand), overprivileged, mediocre talent with the class of a baboon.

  9. Well the people who want to perserve animals instead of eating and using their fur are just as weird! Nothing cruel about animal slaughter…people have been doing it for thousands of years without a single fish or rabbit revolt…there needs to be a large scale slaughter of rabbits and deer in the USA as they are a big time traffic hazard and cause untold millions in accidents, deaths, and property damage every year….have an open season on them.

  10. Reta, that was a joke. Just wanted to state the obvious before you fly off the handle again.

  11. Strom I suggest you get EDUCATED too. It is not about slaughtering animals. I understand there is a food chain. It is about the horrible lives that these furriers put these anmials through months before – and the slaughter is the exclaimation point. You really need to checkout Chinese Fur Farms on you tube and see how they are stuffed into cages for months on end. Have to endure harsh conditions like no water, blistering heat, they can’t even walk around. They are thrown off of tall buses in crates and their bones get broken. They live in their own feces… I could go on and on. It is hell on earth for them and to top it off they are killed in horrible ways that if you just saw ONCE how it is done you would never look at fur the same way, Fur is outdated. We don’t NEED fur. There are synthetics now that are very real looking. And although the American Livestock for food can be vastly improved – the Asian market for these animals are just devestating. They have no one to advocate for them. If you would take a moment to see exactly how horrible their conditons are you would not make such a flippid, ignorant statement.

  12. PS – I like MAry J Blige – I mean she is one of our generations best singers – like Aretha Franklin, she is at the top. she appears to be a intelligent woman and street smart – but totally oblivious and ignorant about the animals she wears. I find it ironic how a woman can sing about pain and oppression yet go out and wear an exotic fur. Strom GET THIS. It is not about slaughtering an aminal as much as it is about HOW it is done and the many months leading up to it. At least in the wild an animal can live a normal life until a predetor decides it is hungry – but in a furrier situation these animals are captured in small confining cages and left to suffer for months.
