Matthew McConaughey is trying to do the right thing for his girlfriend Camila Alves, on her birthday. Camila, who hosts the series, “Shear Genius,” gave birth to their daughter Vida on January 3 – their son Levi is now 1 and ½. Matthew took Camila out to dinner in Malibu at the Beau Rivage restaurant and he got dressed up for the event. Earlier he gave Camila flowers and – of all things – a new memory foam mattress from Selectabed for her birthday.

Camila’s family is beside themselves waiting for pretty boy to propose. If she is so stupid to get knocked up twice, then the fault is 1/2 hers. He is a rogue and I would never trust him.
If she’s good enough to have children with, she’s good enough to marry. I have NO respect for men who refuse to marry the women who are having their children. What a scumbag.
Both are alley cats. She knows she will always get a goodly $amount from him forever for the two kids. I think that was her main objective anyway. I never liked him, he always acted cocky and like he was God’s gift to women. BTW, what has he done lately….I haven’t seen any movies or TV’s from him.
I agree with Natalie completely. Women make it so convenient for the men to walk away from them as tho they are nothing more than a handshake aquantance today. I would think out of respect for their own children alone these fathers would marry the mother’s of their children and show them they thought enought of their mothers to make it legal and say a vow to them to be committed.
He has no respect for her or those kids if he doesn’t give them the security of a legal union.
Like everyone else, I don’t understand why he doesn’t do those vows and GET MARRIED. It’s the right thing to do and the kids will be wwwaaayyy more secure because of it. I work part-time at my daughter’s grammar school and I see the difference between the kids whose parents get married and the ones who don’t. I’ve also both lived w/ someone and lived w/ someone I married, and it’s a big difference.
Another reason Camila’s family is pushing for marriage is: they need some of his money, (that is if he has any since his career has been in the toilet for a long time). lol
He is taking a break from playing the field while bonking Camilla. They should not marry. If they do, he will resume to do what men do.
She chose to be an out of wedlock mom. She needs to learn to live with it while she gets some money from this guy who is obviosly still lacks maturity.
