Readers have been asking if Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp are still together and the answer is definitely YES. Meg was cheering on her boyfriend at the 22nd annual Farm Aid festival in Hersheypark , Pa. where John performed with Willie Nelson, Neil Young, etc. Mellencamp’s voice was described as sounding hoarse and damaged and we’re not surprised since we rarely see of photo of him without a cigarette in his hand.

One of my favorite actresses, and even more so after she adopted a baby from China–just like me, 14 years ago!–and, didn’t ask for any special privileges… waited two years to bring her daughter home. RE: Mellencamp’s voice, hope Meg is prepared to nurse him through lung cancer or another equally awful lung disease.
Hilary, yes, U R right. I hope Meg will try to get him to quit somking, but if he is totally hooked, it may be too late. My cousin died of enphysema at age 45 lugging around an oxygen tank, after smoking 2-3 packs a day for 25 years.
Plus, how can she stand that gross breath….
Hilary, hate to burst your bubble about Meg but she was the subject of a solved blind item that she flew first class while her nanny and daughter flew in coach. She never tried to interact with them during the flight. I don’t think she is a stellar mother.
As for John, I did not recognize him in that pic. My how he has aged.

Meg was on my and my wife’s flight to Indianapolis last year and her kid was right next to her. Well behaved too. So that “blind item” is tre’ bullcrap.
Love how low key they are. They hate the Hollywood bullshit.

Dragonfly, that blind item turned out to be false, as is the case with many of the blind items from that site. And I know the person who has been trying to spread those false rumors…..

Wow…I didn’t even recognize Mellencamp. I agree with the others that I don’t know how she can tolerate smokers. The dragon breath is a total turn off! I can’t date a smoker.
Never been attracted to smokers myself, but I think John’s intelligence and personality probably make up for that shortcoming.
However, because of his heart issues, I will never understand why he doesn’t quit.
I dated a man who was so handsome, wined and dined me, perfect gentleman, so perfect I thought I was dreaming. Only one thing wrong—–he chain-smoked like a chimney. So I set him up with my friend who was also a chain-smoker and they are still together and happy as far as I know. LOL 🙂
Weeeeellll- Quaid was a big smoker. Crowe was a big smoker. So I doubt she cares about smoking. Some even like the smell of cigarettes.
Was at the show and I kid you not, I believe John will be dead within 2 years. Im guessing he has some serious health issues he’s hiding and based on his performance I predict throat cancer. I hope Im wrong but there was DEFINATELY something going on.

both john & meg look terrible. this is an old picture from months back. meg hasnt been in the spotlight for a long time, now that she is with john, all of a sudden theyre all over the internet. it is known for actors who are down to hire paparazzas to shoot photos of them. can only tell. how convenient for them to find out where john & meg are at what time what place at the precise moment. meg helped john cheat on his marriage/family. i find this disgusting as elaine gave 18 years of her life to him & helped him thru his first heart attack. as for meg with all the photo shoots and stuff, hey shes with a big rock star, how convenient she can get noticed again. but john isnt the kind of man to stick with one woman. its a matter of time before this relationship is splitsville.
geegee, get over yourself. That marriage was over many many months before he hooked up wi9th Meg Ryan. And there aren’t many celebrities as media-shy as Ryan. SHE has not said a word to the media these past years, unlike John Mellencamp and his ex-wife who both blabbed to the media. And it’s pretty obvious why the paparazzi are more interested in Meg Ryan than in John/Elaine: because she is like 10 times more famous than Melloncamp.
Elaine Irwin is living with Jay Penske in LA now. There won’t be a reunion between Elaine and John Mellencamp. I don’t get why you are so in love with her anyway.
I have to be one of the biggest fans of Mellencamp so, when I heard about the split of Elaine and John and seen who went with I was sooooo disappointed! Meg Ryan? Really John? OMG….YUK! What a scary site, talk about going to the bottom of the barrel!!

Tid bit for you all… Meg smokes, has for many years… Elaine his ex also smoked… John is 61 years old, Meg is 51 and yes they have aged, that is part of life!! Deal with it
Elaine left John for a man younger than herself..LOL.. I think it is funny how people blame john and Meg for everything. How do I know? I know his oldest daughter… At least Meg is closer to his age and has known him even longer than he knew Elaine..
