MET GALA 2017: ONLY THE COURAGEOUS DARE TO WEAR COMMES DES GARCONS

The theme for this year’s Met Gala was Commes des Garcons by our favorite designer Rei Kawakubo and the dress code, of course, was avant-garde. Not many guests had the courage to WEAR Commes des Garcons because it takes a very brave celebrity to do so. Kawakubo’s designs are structured enough to go out by themselves and not many woman (especially performers) are willing to cover their bodies and not look sexy. Two of the bravest attendees actually wearing Commes des Garcons were Rihanna and Rick Owens’ wife Michele Lamy. We salute them!

  1. Looks like she lost the fight with Barbie’s pink pool liner.

  2. I was sitting here trying to determine which of the two dresses were the hideous. Neither, the scary dude in the black and his girlie capri-like pants is the winner.

  3. Hideous, is the only word I can find for this fashion “hot mess”

  4. These people and their attire are extremely hideous.

  5. These people and their attire are so laughable, fugly would describe them.

  6. I can only hope they were drunk and/or drugged when someone dressed them in those tacky rags.

  7. Years of physical abuse at the hands of Chris Brown has inflicted severe brain damage that results in thinking this dress is a good idea. Damage probably irreversible. Shame.

  8. These wealthy people resemble first year design students who are trying to outdo each other. Taste or talent is severly lacking. These photos should have a caption: “This is your designer on drugs:.”.

  9. Like and agree with the poster (lippp) above.

  10. Shout out to Rick Owens fellow alumni of Frank Wiggins Technical School! Hes brilliant .! Live Michele!
