Our much admired correspondent from The WOW Report, Stephen Saban, discovered this amusing Ebony magazine article. We ADORE looking back at predictions of the future (why did no one predict cell phones?) In 1985, Ebony hired a Chicago artist to illustrate how celebrities would look in the year 2000. It’s funny how Michael Jackson did NOT live up to this portrait, which more closely resembles Billy Dee Williams in his prime.

NO ONE could have predicted the hideous monster that MJ became. Even HE couldn’t have known that he was going to turn into a skelital looking bleached freak with a chopped off nose and butchered eyes and a fake chin cleft, and wig! If he would have been able to peer into the future and see THAT face looking back at him it probably would have scared him into an early heart attack, or suicide. That body dysmorphic cisorder sure sucks to high heaven, doesn’t it! But he could have sought help and not have done all that to himself and kept his career strong too, instead of choosing to go the way of being a total freak for most of his life. And I’m not even going there with the little boys crap…don’t even get me started!!!

If they were attempting to predict in the year 1985 how Jackson would look 15 years on, wouldn’t you think they’d at least *try* to speculate what hairstyles and fashion might be in vogue… rather than just go with what was popular in the eighties? That ‘Miami Vice’ get-up is just laughable.

Reta, you are a disgusting person. Michael Jackson remained, to the day he died, a beautiful person inside and out to those who loved him. You sound like a tabloid junkie, too, giving any credence whatsoever to what you read in the tabloids and the disreputable mainstream media. He was exonerated of child molestation charges in 2005 and extorted in 1993.

Socalgal, drop the crack pipe and I bet you think Roman Polanski was helping that 13 year old girl with her anus. Michael Jackson was a freak and a sad individual and for her fans who can’t handle the truth He’s beautiful inside and out, feel better, damn you’re dumb.

SoCalGal…you are as apparently dilusional as MJ was if you saw that total FREAK as “beautiful inside and out”. Exactly what was so beautiful? His tattooed eyelids, eyebrows? His cut away eyelids so that his eyes seemed to bulge from his head? His bleached white colorless skin which made it so obvious he detested his very own race? His distorted mouth that he painted red with lipstick? The fake cleft in his also fake chin? The huge fake silicon cheekbones? Oh, and the best for last, the several times mutilated nose which was so damaged it couldn’t even support itself anymore and had holes in the sides where it was caving in? Or, maybe the stringy, greasy-looking unstyled wig he always wore that you could see the dges of around his white pale skin? Are THESE the BEAUTIFUL things you speak of?

Or the way he carried around a live monkey and dumped it as soon as it got too big and unmanagible? Or the women’s jacket’s he frequently wore? Or maybe what you thought was so beautiful was the way he carried around the young teenaged “little person” actor, like the young man was a baby on his hip? Or maybe what you asdmired so was the way he kept so many of OTHER people’s children all around him, and even admitted to sleeping with them in his own bed? Do you remember than there was a closed circuit camera operation set up that showed the hall leading to his bedroom giving him plenty of time to “act normal” and get the kids out of his bed before the door would be knocked on? Maybe you don’t recall the kids that say he played “rub-a-rub-a’ games with them? Gee, I haven’t forgotten these things. And I don’t see anything beautiful about it. I also don’t think it was very beautiful when he paid a white woman to have two kids for him, and even snatched the little girl from the hospital (by his own words!) when her umbelical cord was still attached to her! I suppose you think THAT is perfectly SAFE and NORMAL?

If so, I hope they keep YOU away from all children as well. There is something dreadfully WRONG with your thinking!

Wow, you really laid it out there. You stated factually what MJ was really like. It is baffling his fans can look at his distorted face and somehow and see “normal”. This sad but talented man is DEAD at an early age way before his time largely due to his neuroses. And fans still give him godlike status ignoring the elephant in the room – he was a very disturbed man and a poster child for how an abused childhood can destroy your life regardless how much fame and fortune you have.

Hey Bobby Ewing…no thanks, I remeber only too hideously what the freak monster looked like and I am GLAD he finally bite the dust so that NOW the children of the world will be safe, including the ones he purchased from that white enormous pig who sold her very own blood and flesh. I hope she falls over dead soon as well and joins the freak in the hell all the bible thumpers on her are always spewing about! I can’t think of two “people” who deserve it more that those two freaks who think making children is a business to be sold to the highest bidder.

Some respect for the dead. He was a tortured soul and we watch him self destruct. Those people who help turn him into s monster will die in hell. Family members, promoters, film and music folks, greedy folks, all of them feeding off his genius.

He would have turned into a good looking gentlemman had he left things be and gone into the sunset to live with his millions. But he became a freak instead because that is what H-wood and those vultures do to people. He was Hollywood’s franskenstein.

    On May 3, 2010 at

Hey, Poopie, I didn’t respect him when he was alive, I sure as hell am not going to respect the freak now! And “Hollywood” didn’t turn him into what he became, HE DID! All he had to do was seek mental help for his myriad of issues, what with the body dysmorphic disorder, and the obscession with young boys. Their are treatments for those things, other than buthering yourself and sleeping with children. But I DO agree with you on one thing: He WAS Frankenstein! Too bad they didn’t do a remake and have him star since I heard he wanted to be in movies!

I love his music but was appalled by the cosmetic surgeries he had. I’ve often wondered if he had the surgeries so he could completely distance himself from his father and his father’s looks. Perhaps, the less he looked like Joseph, the better he felt. Just a theory.

Michael was quoted as saying that when he was young asll the brothers would tease him and say his nose was like their father’s and since he was so terrified by his abusive father, and identified his negative feeling for his father with his own face, the way to get rid of the problem, was to destroy the “Man in the mirror”…his own father’s visgae looking back at him from his own eyes. Of course, this is a mental illness that was left untreated and the whole world was witness to what body dismorphic disorder of the highest degree left untreated results in. Too bad. He had the money to get his problems taken care of properly and he would have still been human and successful, but he chose mutilation and bleach and paranoia. I don’t pity him at all, he could have had the world and all it’s beauty and instead he chose to be one of it’s horrors.

Well first of all Reta, u obviously are not a MJ fan cuz if u were u would kno that he DID NOT bleach his skin.. It was make-up, but if u were a fan u’d probably kno that.. And as far as surgery, he had 2 on his nose and that was it… Read the book, read the book.. Get facts before u just go and blab so millions of ppl can read.. He was not a freak nor a pediphile.. He liked kids so wat? He never had much of a childhood so he liked playing games with children.. Taking them to NL and having fun.. I would trust him with my son or daughter for sure.. Again, ur going by rumor and ur running with it.. Do u really believe the tabloids… They NEVER tell the truth.. All the do is hurt ppl and make them into something their not.. It’s actually very sad that they really dont have a life.. They get much more enjoyment out of following ppl around and making up BULLSHIT about them and i see u r one of them ppl that hang on to every little word they say.. I pitty u, i actually do.. Mj was a great man, talented and a good father, could of been a great family man if he hadn’t of put his entertaining before everything else.. But i guess that is what made him #1…

Michaels Jackson Poor Baby had too much done to his face and it had to have been really hard to be him and there are people in this world who take him as he is and don’t mind but there are times in people lives that things go wrong and they can’t be right and you have to take what you have and just make the best of it and some standards where not reached and that is the way the cookie crumbles and you have to do the best with what you got.

Michael Jackson has changed so much and I really don’t understand why he got addicted to having his face altered and I do feel sorry for him going over board and really getting carried away and wish he had stopped at one point but the History had been made and he had his life and I still care and will always enjoy him for life.

I feel sorry for Michael Jackson in many ways who ever though he was going to get that skin disease and then have problems with his breathing and most of all the man was trapped like a rat in his house unable to leave without body guards…What kind of life is that and with the stress of allegations tossed his way with good measure and all the grief that follows…No wonder he did not look the part 20 years later.
