Miley Cyrus is as jumpy as a cat on a hot tin roof this week because her movie “The Last Song” is about to open. This is a career-changing time for Miley because she wants to switch from singing to acting full time. A LOT depends on how she is received in this movie. A friend who saw an early screening found Miley’s voice to be irritating. If Miley succeeds in this – her first grownup role – it bodes well for her future. If not, she may have to revive Hannah Montana. (Above she’s with her costar/boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.)

Her voice IS very irritating! First noticed it on a Barbara Walters interview. She needs to seriously work on correcting that if she’s truly serious about an acting career. Thanks for pointing that out.

A while back she was interviewed on Oprah. She talked non-stop and really fast in that deep irritating voice. I have never heard a low deep voice like hers, even from a woman in the midst of menopause. And her singing sucks big time, again with the deep tones. Thankfully the musicians drown out a lot of it. How is she able to fool us all (not me) into thinking she is great? And, the fast she talks the deeper her voice gets. Yuck
I have also noticed her deep deep voice….very unusual for a teenager. Also, she does talk fast and the faster she talks the deeper, like she is inside a barrel. lol
This girl can’t sing and can’t act. She’s unattractive and she sounds like she smokes about 10 packs a day. Other than her tween “Hannah Montana” fans, who else even can stomach this so-called singer/actress?

Doesn’t birth control pills make you have a deep voice? Surely she is on them now, either that or the rubber factory has been kept busy selling them to her past and present boyfriends. That sounds about right, because she sounds like an old crone.
Now that is just one darn gorgeous outfit.
I had to mute her when she came on AI. She was horrible on that show.

I just noticed that the commercials for the movie do not show her talking. The studio must know her voice is irritating.
Miley is what we would have referred to in high school as “easy”. Except things are different nowadays and Miley started being easy at least 5 years before a high schooler. I am still wondering if that gossip which was floated a few months back is true…..that she had an abortion in Mexico.
She is certainly not a role model for my 12-year-old daughter. I would not be sad if this movie took a dive. Wonder what Walt Disney would be thinking about her? I miss the original Mouseketeers! 🙂
