MILEY CYRUS : IS SHE DITCHING HER PARENTS?

When we first heard the rumors about Miley Cyrus filing for emancipation from her parents, we couldn’t believe it. They seem like a decent and responsible- and loving – family. Now we’re hearing that next week the emancipation will be officially announced! It it’s true, we’re very disappointed in the Hannah Montana star. Has Miley been so swept away by her twenty year old boyfriend Justin Gaston that she wants to move in with him, or what? Kids with more money than their parents just don’t want to listen to them. We’d rather see Miley stay with her family until she’s eighteen.

I sure hope this is just rumor, because nobody is adult enough at 16 to run their own life. It sounds like her fame has seriously gone to her head. That’s a shame, because I’m afraid we’re seeing another Lindsay-Lohan-in-training. As strict as her mother is, I can’t believe she’s even allowing this to happen.

Kids aren’t ready to run their own lives at 18, let alone 16. What would be the basis for the court to allow Miley freedom from her parents? Unless she can prove abuse or something else, I don’t see where she’d have a legal leg to stand on. Just my opinion.

She probably wanted to have a more serious relationship with the older boyfriend and her parents said no, so now she wants to be on her own to do as she pleases. He will then dump her after he gets what he wants and tires of her then she’ll go into a depression and start taking drugs to ease the pain, then friends will come out of the woodwork and rob her blind so then her parents will come back to save her. sound familiar?

On EXTRA and E.T. both, Miss horse-teeth claimed this is a rumor. I can’t stand this trumped up ugly Disney kid with the unusually deep voice. Plus, her ’singing’ really sucks. It is deep and raspy and awful. Justin should run, but methinks he is using this skank-in-the-making to keep his name in the limelight.

She is just another flash in the pan fad. I don’t think she has much talent and her staying power will likely reflect that. I wish she would just go away so my 4 year old daughter never cares who Hannah Montana is or was! Hope she holds on to some money so we don’t have to see her on Dancing with the Stars or Celebrity Rehab:)
