NICOLAS CAGE REMEMBERS WHEN HE WAS A LOT LIKE HIS SON WESTON

We love the way Nicolas Cage supports his teenagel son Weston’s music career. Weston has what is described as a black metal band called Eyes of Noctum. They played at the Whisky recently and Nic showed up. Since Nic was always off-beat as a kid, (and also has a penchant for black leather) we imagine he’s open minded about his son’s hard core band and life style.

   I have never liked any movie Nic Cage was in. The kid didn’t have a chance with this goofball as his pappy.

   Janet,you should not promote this garbage.
   Black metal has been met with considerable hostility from mainstream culture, mainly due to the misanthropic and anti-Christian ideology of many artists. Additionally, some musicians have been associated with church burnings, murder and/or National Socialism. For these reasons and others, black metal is often viewed as an underground form of music.
