Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban and their daughters Sunday and Faith arrived at Sydney airport on Valentines Day. Nicole never forgets to celebrate her husband’s sobriety. It’s hard to imagine, but every year she personally bakes a cake for Keith and his friends in AA on the anniversary of his giving up drinking. She bakes it, but she never eats any of it!

Something about Nicole Kidman that makes me uneasy. I get a shallow bitchy vibe from her. (I hope I am wrong.) Plus, time and time again I see photos of her carrying the children awkwardly. When the children were infants, I would see Nicole holding them and not supporting their heads with the other hand….or the child would look like it was pitched backward too much. Again, my opinion.

I rarely ever see those kids smile.

If I was kid had to have a Hollywood parent, I would want Jennifer Garner at my mom and Hugh Jackman as the dad. Those two are always having fun with their little ones.

I agree the baby, Faith, looks awkwardly like she’s leaning backwards. She should have her other hand on the baby’s back.

I’m glad tho that he is staying off drinking so far and am happy for the whole family. Happy for Nicole that dhe finally has the family she always wanted and that Tom kept from her with the two children they adopted together.

This may sound far-fetched, but I think she is still somewhat brain-washed from being with Tom Cruise and being forced into Scientology. One could wonder why she seldom if ever have a few months a year with Connor and Bella. They have been forced into Scientology, so it’s doubtful if Tom will let her even see them. SCI is so powerful, you can be affected by it for years.

I get no warmth from them to the kids their body language is horrible! Nannies raising kids. Halle, Sandy B and Jessica Alba show you want proper parenting looks like. These two, meh. Why the hell did they chose to have kids??

Celebrating his sobriety and being supportive is a wonderful thing. Who cares if she eats the cake?

She has to avoid sweets because she is diabetic, give her a break, she likes well behaved and polite children, supports her husband and his efforts to stay sober.. the kids are lovely and well dressed, kind and polite, though naturally nervous and shy of the crowds of crazed photographers around them..

I did not know she was a diabetic. I never heard that before. I thought Urban was gay and then he married nicole. I guess he wasn’t afterall.

I didn’t know she was diabetic either. Did she mention it in an interview?

Nicole and Keith are warm, kind, generous people. When he speaks of his family, he positively glows. I think they are a great example to others.

Hi all-I thought I would add my 2 cents to the pix of the Kidman-Urban family. IMHO, I think the little girls are just beautiful and very much loved. I’m in agreement with those who mention the manner in which she holds the girls–very awkward–maybe she needs a few tips. Being a first-time mother in her forties is a challenging adjustment for her, but she’s doing the best she can–supporting Keith in his sobriety and making her family her first priority.

but Anne she isn’t a first time mother in her 40’s. she is a second go around mother in her 40’s. she had held connor and isabella cruise when they were little. I don’t know how often but i do remember seeing a photo or two with her holding them .

I’m so glad Nicole and Keith’s marriage is working. I wasn’t so sure at first, but they seem to really be made for each other. And it’s very sweet of her to get involved in his sobriety anniversaries. Addicts need the right kind of support from those they love and who love them.

I’m so happy for her that she finally found a man who would really LOVE her and give her the children she so desperately wanted. Cruise kept the first two away from her when they split and I’m sure with their scientology brainwashing that they were kept away from her also because Nicole WASN’T participating in that brainwashing bunk. Too bad those kids never had the choice to make a choice of what THEY want to do as to their beliefs, but then, that happens in most familes. You bring your children up to believe what YOU believe, YOUR “religion”. I am SO happy I didn’t do that to MY boys. They had the choice to be free of brainwashing of all kinds and figure out the world on their own. Proud of them.

Since they used a surrogate, I wonder if Nicole’s eggs were used? Adorable children. Am a fan of Nicole. Cute family/
