Okay people, as a black woman I’m clueless as to the racist overtones, undertones or anything. What she’s saying is Latina and Black women aren’t held to the same anorexic standard of beauty that white women are. If JLo or Rosario Dawson or Halle or Beyonce ( who has a wonderful body) was built like one of the Olsen twins the men in those cultures would laugh them off the block. Janet is merely commenting about how diverse cultures embrace different shapes but they really don’t. In African cultures, Iman who is small by comparison weight wise is not the ideal. They like women heavy because it’s a sign of wealth and health and fertility. In essence, what she’s saying is if Jlove was a black woman, nobody would be tripping over her actually being built like a female instead of an adolescent boy! The only racist comments on this site are saying you’d have to be drunk to be with a Williams sister. Obviously that applies if you’re a white man who likes boney ass women

i heard she is a bit of a snob, her and lauren graham got into at a award show behind the curtain around 2002 and it wasn’t a pretty sight . they kept that episode real quiet. so i don’t care too much for jennifer l. hewitt. she thinks she ’s better than us.
