NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY ABOUT KATY PERRY’S DIVORCE

We were surprised to hear that Katy Perry’s divorce is actually affecting her fragrance sales! According to a business source, Katy’s fragrances do particularly well in the “Christian markets” in the midwest and south where they frown on divorce. Sales have dropped around 25% in those areas, perhaps because she’s not as innocent as she used to be. Her original scent is called “Purr” and she promoted her new fragrance, “Meow,” recently at Nordstrom at The Grove with considerable fanfare.

   I personally don’t think it’s the divorce that is affecting her perfume sales. Katy has been laying low the last little bit and people are starting to forget about her. She needs to re-emerge and play up the victim role a little more, in order to get publics sympathy. That is if, she wasn’t the bad guy in the break up.

   Hanging out with Rihanna, may have something to do with it as well.

   Quite frankly, the perfume bottle is childish. Is her target audience 12 and under? If so, then the bottle is fine.

   Isn’t Katy Perry about 27 now? Shouldn’t she at least target those that can vote and draw a paycheck from Wendy’s?
