Much fuss has been made about the rumor that Lindsay Lohan is such a devoted actress that she has supposedly cut and dyed her hair to look like Elizabeth Taylor in “Liz and Dick.” Far from it. Yes, she was photographed in a chin length bob done up as Liz (top photo.) But after that photo was released she was out on the town clubbing with her usual long hair – darker, but still long. In yesterday’s swimsuit pic in character as Liz, her hair is longer than Liz’s ever was in her life! Has Lindsay convinced producers to let her retain her own long hair instead of wearing it short like Liz really did? Lohan probably didn’t think Liz’s super short hair was sexy or flattering. We wouldn’t be surprised if producers let her have her way- the heck with accuracy. (It looks like Lindsay is wearing a vintage Catalina swimsuit.)

This movie will be a flash in the pan. LL doesn’t look a thing like Ms. Taylor. And, as far as acting – well, need I go there?

Taylor was a scandal off and on for years. She was in more bedrooms than the toothfairy.
Anyone remember reading Eddie Fisher’s autobiography? He was suppose to still love her but he painted wild picture of her just like other people have…..because she was a one wild woman and relished chaos.
I bet Taylor wore wiglets, wigs and hair pieces at times. If it enhanced her beauty or alure, she would have wore it.
I think the H-Wood bigwigs cast Lindsay in the role of Liz strictly for the SHOCK FACTOR.

Lindsay is easy to mock. But if Liz had been a star in this era, the media would have been mocking her too. I really hope Linds can pull off her Liz impression. It would be quite fitting.

Kait, I feel the same way. Had Liz have been young like Lindsay during this era, she would have knocked Lohan, Hiltons and Kardashians out of the limelight for sure.
We know Lindsay has talent and a lack of common sense. Let’s hope her talent prevails and she makes this work. Of course, if the script is bad, that’s not gonna be Lohan’s fault.
Kristen Stewart looks more like liz than lindsay, but unfortunately she would have had to smile if she had the part.
