Lou Reed is pictured here having breakfast with one of the loves of his life, his rat terrier Lollabelle. Lou and his partner, performance artist Laurie Anderson, are so crazy about their terrier that they create music to tantalize her canine ears and now they’re putting on a concert just for dogs in Australia! Reed and Anderson are headlining the Vivid Live festival in June and all their music will be high pitched and designed for doggy pleasure. Dog owners are advised to bring their pets to the event on leashes only. Can you imagine dogs in the audience singing and howling along to the high notes? We love it!

I can’t believe that Lou Reed! He looks like a combination of both Mick Jaggar and Keith Richards.

Yes, he surely does, sharp eyes you got there Sally! LOVE that song of his “Take a walk on the wild side”. What a colossally cool song, and always will be. Never really got Laurie Anderson tho. I always thought she was just too contrived. But I’m glad they love the doggies and try to entertain them, just don’t know about that high-pitched thing being a good idea. I think it more hurts their ears than entertains them.

I’ve love to see Lou and Keith together. And maybe Iggy Pop with them. The wrinkle factor would be +1000. Awesome!
