A trip to and from the dermatologist can be awkward for anyone – especially if the doctor specializes in cosmetic skin treatments. The patient has to arrive without makeup – preferably with numbing cream on their skin. Of course when they leave, their skin is all flared up in one way or another and definitely not photogenic.
