“ODD COUPLE” CINDY WILLIAMS AND JOANNE WORLEY ARE A HIT AT THE JERSEY SHORE

A blast from the past! A different generation has taken up residence on the Jersey Shore – in Beach Haven, to be exact.“L averne & Shirley” star Cindy Williams and Joanne Worley from “Laugh-In” are doing summer theater there – and appearing together in the female version of Neil Simon’s ”The Odd Couple.” Cindy plays messy Olive Madison (the Jack Klugman role) and Joanne plays neat freak Florence Unger (the Tony Randall role.) The Jersey Shore is loving their show – it’s such a hit that the number of performances has already doubled for the 3 week gig and the stars have no time to go to the beach.

  1. @Denise

I would too! Love both of these ladies!!

Williams (63) was married to that arrogant piece of crap lame singer/lame performer/big mouth Bill Hudson. How she put up with him I don’t know. Glad to see her working and with one of the coolest ladies ever, Joanne Worley.

Worley (73) has one of the best laughs I have ever heard. It’s simply wonderfully loud & infectious. I could never understand why this brilliant performer didn’t have her own series in the past 30 years.

In addition, both ladies are aging well and look great!!!

  2. I adore these two women, they always made me laugh. Glad they are paired up doing a female version of the Odd Couple. They can pass for sisters.

    @Walt,

You are correct in saying, both Cindy & Joanne should have gotten their own shows, this is talent. If only Hollywood could get their act together, pull the plug on stupid reality series & bring back some of these wonderful actors. Oh, the good ol’ days.

  3. These two women look a lot a like. The one on the left was in the movie American Graffiti.

  4. Cindy was in both American Graffiti movies, Dick. I wonder if George Lucas ever considered her as Princess Leia?
If that is indeed your real name, Dick.

  5. I would LOVE to see this. Unfortunately, I live 1000 miles away…

    Good for them. Great ladies.

  6. Casonia Sade Logenberry..And on Hells kitchen..Who is next to go? Chef Gordon Ramsay really scares the Pooh out of me..But what puts me at ease is that yelling and screaming does not lead to getting your ass whipped or getting a belt on your bottom. I gro says:

Love Cindy Williams to some degree but my mother was a Major Big Fan of her and really enjoyed anything she did as an actress and she was always pure and the girl next door that would not put out. Polly pure bread she was known as..But what the Heck..Have some fun and spice up your life more and Hit the Road with Joanne Worley and..I think you may draw more attention to yourself and put some spice and add some tenderness to each other..Funny and two age lines crossing together and moving the flavors around to some degree?

Just have fun and do something different and something new and try new things in life and just play and travel and leave and meet new people and try new places and just live your life and good luck and lets see what will happen down the road!

  8. Casonia Logenberry...Hells kitchen..Is only for the few? Year after year people from all over the world want to prove themselves to Chef Gordon Ramsay..Why? He is very hard to please and that what makes him attractive! says:

Have fun ladies and just play games and let your fans see you and talk to you and get to know you better and of course you could do small parts on movies and or Special Guest on some shows but there are people that will always see you a Certain way and maybe you can show other people another side?

  9. I think American tv could be great if they could just (to misquote), “pull the plug on stupid,” period. No idiotic “Full House,” “Bachelor” and other idiotic shows.

Always loved Joanne Worley, whenever I saw her she was hilarious and fun. I bet Cindy Williams has some stories she could tell.
