Johnny Depp showed up at the Venice Film Festival to promote his move, “Black Mass” in which he plays the notorious gangster Whitey Bulger, and he looks LESS like a gangster than he usually does. Perhaps those rumors are true. We’re referring to the stories about Johnny having a drinking problem. (The Shane McGowan influence?) He certainly doesn’t look as healthy as he usually does (a tad bloated?) and conservative attire isn’t helping any. His wife Amber Heard IS with him at the festival.

More worrying: this may be only the beginning. JD may be on his way to morphing into an incarnation of Marlon Brando, whom he idolized. 🙁
