“One Direction: This Is Us” actually reveals only a small part of the lives of the boy band members and it’s the squeaky clean part. Not a four letter word is muttered and sexual references are absent from the movie – but hey, it was refreshing! It was a pleasant shock NOT to be assaulted by the F word and female fans in the movie are appreciated – not insulted and abused! The band’s creator Simon Cowell did something right here. It’s an uplifting and charming movie that kids of any age can enjoy and it makes all the boy band members appear to be grateful and decent. It may not be totally realistic, but that’s what’s appealing about it.

his is a desperate try you should buy this music?
I’m sick of all the artificial and manufactured boy bands and other singers being forced on the public. Most of these “singers” can’t carry a tune outside of these studios that are used to tweak all these people’s singing! Like Britney Spears, for example.
An utter lack of profanity and sexual innuendo is pretty remarkable for any 21st century entertainment endeavor. Their music and appeal is a bit young for my taste but I think they are fine and hope the business doesn’t eventually change that. I was just reading that Harry Styles isn’t a fan of ‘twerking’ so I guess that includes the new Miley Cyrus which is encouraging.
