They should have offered 20 or 25 memorable moments. By the time you get to 100, you no longer give a crap.
Moonstruck , Peggy Sue Got Married, Raising Arizona and National Treasure are my personal favorites.
I agree Walt. Although he won the Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, I actually hated that movie.
I throughly ENJOYED that and they WERE a hoot! I don’t know why, because it’s obvious he really can’t ACT, other than shades of the same guy, but he still makes his “characters” enjoyable to watch and does add a certain something no one else has to each movie he’s been in. He needs to get back to teaming up with the Coen Brothers, with maybe George Clooney.
I think my favs of his are Raising Arizona; Rumble Fish; Face Off; and of COURSE Moonstruck with the incredible Cher who should act more, but should have done it before she butchered up her lovely, already perfect face. Her teen years, her face was stunning! I REALLY wish she wouldn’t have altered the way she looks. It’s like the old Cher that was so glamorous died and got replaced by an automaton. Sad!
Nick was a hunk when he was young and had his hair thick and dark, and I LOVED the hairy chest in Moonstruck! Wowy-wow-kazowy! I hate all these waxed smooth as a baby-butt chests on men of today…YUCK! NOT manly! I want something to run my fingers thru!!

PS: His grown son, Wesley, the “musician” (don’t make me laugh!) is really creepy and NOT good looking at all with his over the top band-look and scary mental illness (drug use problem?). With all the talent in that bloodline (Coppola…look them up on Wikipedia…amazing how many famous people Nick is related to) you’d think he would handle his life better and make better choices. Not go around buying useless castle after useless castle until he’s dead broke and owes the Gov’t shitloads (that’s a technical term) of money. I feel for the guy, but just DUMB dealings…he did it to himself, now he has to take shit roles like “Ghost Rider” (hahahahahahahaha) burning skull (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha) yeah, THAT should garner him an Oscar!

Let’s face it, it’s the adorable Holly Hunter that steals the movie. You have to love her as an actress after viewing this one.

Denise, I think “Leaving Las Vegas” would have been even better without Elizabeth Shue. Shue is a pretty woman but there is something harsh about her. I’m just not a fan. Cage did do a great job in that movie. He plays drunk quite well. 🙂
He plays ‘himself’ in every role just like Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, Michael Douglas et al. (Although he pales in comparison as an actor compared with these guys). Raising Arizona and Valley Girl are still his best films.
