OUR HERO JULIA ROBERTS PARKS IN A HANDICAPPED SPACE

Juliacut_roberts_ha%2381770.jpg
We APPLAUD Julia Roberts for parking in a handicapped space and here’s why: every fourth person in Beverly Hills seems to have a “handicapped” card in their car. Rich lazy people have bribed their doctors to give them handicapped cards so they won’t have to hunt for parking spaces or PAY for parking. (Yes, they park free everywhere.) It’s a huge SCAM – rarely do we see a genuinely needy person with crutches or a wheelchair use a handicapped space. And because there are now SO many “handicapped” people faking it – MORE and MORE spaces are set aside for them! It’s NOT fair to us, and it’s not fair to the truly disabled. Julia is disgusted with this situation so she shows her resentment by parking in the forbidden space. We’d do the same, but we can’t afford the ticket.

  1. First- this was from about 2 weeks ago. My how current you are.
Second- Julia is famous. she will never receive a ticket for this offensive action.

  2. She has the WIDEST mouth I have ever seen. It’s different from Angelina’s, in that it is wide, vs. Angelina’s large and fat lips. Julia’s is so wide it could accommodate two… um, weiners at the same time. Maybe that’s why she has always been able to get a man and/or husband. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

  3. Oh, and yeah, maybe her WIDENESS could get her a handicapped card, too, that is, if the doctor is a man. LOL again and again.

Alright, who wrote this article? Janet, please tell me you wouldn’t write something so absurd.
It looks like Julia is getting into the passengers side. Who is the driver and are they handicapped?
BTW, not all handicapped people are on crutches or use a wheelchair.

  5. seriously???
    shes showing her resentment?
more like shes showing off her power
she doesnt care about the handicapped and what the parking space is for
    THATS why shes parking there

  6. Hmmm,,that’s a good spin Janet,,NOT. Who the hell do you think your writing too. Do you think your fanbase is THAT dumb,,well wait a minute we might be mean and ugly but we’re not dumb. Anyhow,,they are not in Beverly Hills and thats a bull#### protest “I’m disqusted with the handicapped parking situation so I’ll park in handicapped”, give me a break…what probably happened is they needed to get all the kids and new baby out of the car so they pulled into that spot and down loaded and got their pics taken, cringed,, then pulled into a open spot elsewhere.

  7. As someone who has a parent that is handicapped, I resent Julia taking up a parking spot that my mother would have to wait in her car to open up. Julia should be ticketed, have to do a PSA about people parking in handicapped spots that aren’t, and be forced to park in the furthest spot in every parking lot for a year.

  8. Julia is a good actress but, as this shows, thoughtless! What happens when someone that really does need the spot comes along? I guess Ms. Roberts can explain how she was “showing her resentment” for people using a handicapped spot when they don’t need it.wtf…

  9. Julia Roberts action in taking a handicap space for herself is arrogant and selfish, not commendable. While I wholeheartedly agree with you that the rich & lazy do not deserve handicap placards (especially if they’re celebrities), your conclusion that its easy for them to get one is absurd. Just because a person is not in a wheelchair does not mean that they are not handicapped. My husband and my 13 year old son both have muscular dystrophy; my son also has mild cerebral palsy & walks on his toes. They both suffer every day of their lives with leg & foot pain & each have their own handicap placard, because neither of them can be on their legs for very long. I have a wheelchair for my son in my trunk, but he prefers not to use it unless he has to walk far. Still, I frequently notice people giving us dirty looks when we use a handicap spot, unless I drag out the wheelchair. They apparently don’t bother watching him long enough to notice that his gait is abnormal, he has to hang on to my arm for balance & occasionally falls to the ground. The point is, judging people when you don’t know them, or their circumstances is small-minded. Incidentally, we live in an LA suburb, are frequently going places in and around LA & only got free parking once (at the beach in Santa Monica)…we have to pay, like everyone else. P.S.: We’re poor, and hardworking!

  11. Very timely as usual Janet. This photo was discussed more than 2 weeks ago on other blogs. I think you are in the wrong business.

  12. EVERYBODY’S HERO!!
WHEN NO ONE WILL OFFER YOU A PARKINGPLACE, there isn’t a chance of feeling important though. But ofcourse there is this sickmaking way!!
btw: Try to shave your arm-pits again instead of your already bald PUSSIE!!

  13. The best way she can show her ‘resentment’ is by protesting loudly on all her interviews, which she will never do. When you’re rich and spoiled you don’t care about the little people.

  14. Janet, luv ya babe, but …
There is such an alarming lack of logic in your thinking, as expressed in this post, that I am speechless.

  15. Oh – now you’re “The Psychic Friends Network” because YOU know what Julia Roberts is thinking when she parks illegally! Aren’t you a genius! Janet (or whoever wrote this), this is called “projection,” which is when you project what YOU think or feel onto someone else. The thoughts are YOURS (the disgust with people who use bogus handicapped parking permits). Julia Roberts is merely another able-bodied person who has violated the rights of handicapped people with permits by taking their parking space. I don’t care why. Does anybody really care why able-bodied Julia Roberts needed to park there? Wow… must be a slow news day! Surely your readers are smarter than you think they are, not willing to buy this ridiculous “faux” rationale of yours!

  16. Being that she is a retarded imbicile, I can understand why she has a handicap plaque.

  17. She’s got to many kids so she needs to be handicapped! The celebs are all into themselves and don’t care about the mainstream who actually made them RICH. We buy and go to the movies and make them richer every time go. The papparazzi doesn’t help either their faces are plastered on every magazine and papers all the time . so alot of this hype goes to their head .

  18. Janet,
Your a complete idiot for posting this irrational logic. First off, this incident happened over two weeks ago and was all over a bunch of other sites. Second, your basically saying if Julia jumps off a cliff then everyone else should. Your thinking is so flawed. There are laws set forth in this country to maintain order and those spots are reserved for people that truly need them. Wether they faked getting their placard or not…it still does not mean it is right. I think your getting a bit long in the tooth and it is time to find a new hobby.

  19. If Julia had any brains she’d
could be pulling thru WalGreens drive up window.
I guess, she must have a MOVIE in the works and needs some publicity.
That gal looks awful thin, wonder when was the last time she had a BBQ sandwich with cole slaw on top or some ribs.
Somebody ought tell her in Memphis there are no paparazzi. AND TO PIG OUT, as one of these days as thin as she is getting she’ll have low blood pressure (too much dieting) and who knows she just might fall out and die.

  20. Course, interesting post somebody else made about pointing out that select doctors in LA will prescribe anything to anybody.
Well, just think. Do these doctors really know what’s best for their patients?
Here, take this or maybe a friend is supply that person pills because they at one time had the same problem or what the heck.
Gee, imagine if that person had an adverse reaction to those pills… Wonder, could they sue that person? I really doubt it… What kind of an idiot takes other peoples medication…LOL.

  21. since when do 2 wrongs make a right? I must have missed that turn of events.

  22. I never understood the fascination with this one, she’s not a great actress, very homely looking and I can’t think of anything she has going for her. I have a feeling she laid on a couch or two on her way up. Anyway, she’s no one’s hero I know and just add one more check to the “she sucks” column for parking in the handi space. Just like a celeb to feel like she deserves to park anywhere she wants. It’s all Julia’s world, we’re just visiting!

  23. Janet,
The logic you’ve put forth is tantamount to “fucking for chastity.” It just doesn’t make sense.
If Julia wants to make a case about the placard abuse that goes on in LA, she needs to pull an Erin Brockovich and launch an investigation and make it public. Julia certainly has the clout to do it, so why not stand up for the rights of those who don’t have the power and the money to do so for themselves? (Julia’s the first to admit she’s paid too much for what she does.) This is a good cause she can get behind. Just a thought …

  24. umm, i’ve been reading janet’s column for awhile and when i read this i immediately realized she is being VERY sarcastic…. is this over everyone else’s heads? it seemed very obvious to me….

  25. Doesn’t she seem to be getting in the passenger side? Maybe the person she was driving with legitimately required the handicap space.

  26. It seems the dumber you are, the bigger star you become; and the less you care about anyone but yourself. I never understood why she would be called “pretty woman”. She has a wide wide mouth as someone stated above. Danny Moder is a common-looking wimp who has little $ of his own. She supposedly could get any man she wanted as evidenced by her highly immoral skanky past.

  27. You APPLAUD her???????????? Surly you jest. That’s unacceptable. Even if she is disgusted with the farst she is just as wrong for doing that. It’s not cute.

  28. Interesting how my comments never got posted, even though I tried 3 times.

  29. Interesting how my comments never got posted, even though I tried 3 times.
Julia Roberts can afford the ticket, but that doesn’t make her any less of a selfish bitch for parking here.

  30. As someone who has had to have a couple of surgeries following being hit by a big truck while I was riding my bike, I NEED the handicapped space. Yes. I’m on crutches. No. I don’t have a placard because it’s only temporary. So my husband will use the spot when it’s open and I hobble out, then he parks elsewhere. I really don’t CARE if Julia Roberts thinks the system is being abused, she’d better not be taking a space that someone with real physical issues NEEDS just to make a specious and very arrogant point. BTW nice SUV, Julia. Way to offend the disabled and the environmentalists all in one fell swoop. SUV owners should pay higher road and fuel taxes than those of us with fuel-efficient cars and pay more for extra-large parking places. Why not take THAT on as a cause?
If you have a problem with the system being “abused” — and do you have ANY proof of that? — get the requirements for getting a placard changed, if that’s even necessary. In the meantime walk your fat ass a few extra feet and leave the disabled alone.

  31. Every disabled person isn’t in a wheelchair or hobbling on crutches you dumb ass winch!!!
