Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is unusual because she started out as a model and ended up a food expert. Actually, that probably makes her everyman’s dream girl. She’s written several books about food and her Emmy winning reality series Top Chef has been on the air since 2005. Padma’s lookalike daughter Krishna Lakshmi Dell, 7, was the center of a custody battle with Padma’s ex-boyfriend venture capitalist Adam Dell. Agreements were finally reached and now Padma and Adam are friends again – maybe more.
