Is anybody else as appalled by Padma Lakshmi’s outfit as we are? She turned up with billionaire Ted Forstmann at the Met Costume Gala Monday in this flashy gown. The Top Chef host just had a baby on February 20, but she doesn’t have to show off her figure in such an extreme way. Padma is capable of looking very elegant. This dress is too tight, too shiny, too cheezy looking. The garment is more suitable for a Las Vegas Showgirl of the Year contest than a museum event.
Gwen Stefani, on the other hand, got it right.
First of all, for a beautiful woman who has her own career and money, why does she keep hooking up with ugly old men? I mean,s he MARRIED that wierdo Salmon Rusdie, and he was even worse looking than this guy, who looks pretty hard to look at.
Now, as for the dress: Yes, it looks bad. She usually DOES dress much classier. What the hell are the two Bone looking items going down the front of her lower belly area, just above her crotch? NOT attractive!
As for Gwen, sorry, but you got that one wrong Janet. Most of the dress looks passably shiny and slick, but the top looks like it got caught in a garbage disposal and it ripped some of the material away. Now her BLACK bra is showing. I was taught to always wear white under white. Sorry, THIS is not classy at all, looks tacky, like something Courtney Love would “wear”. She needs an emergency seamstress to finish off the top of her bodice.

She must have a high opinion of herself, wearing such tight, shiny, feathery, cheesy clothing so soon after delivery.

that gold dress is gross. bad color, bad fabric, bad fit. The old man might have cash, but you look like a ho when you bring him to the Met Gala as your date. Ick nast.
Padma Lakshmi is a whore plain and simple. Her mantra: find the oldest, richest, ugliest man and hold on for as much as she can get…the older the better as long as she hides the Viagra. Whore.
Don’t like either outfit. Stefani looks absurd with the white silvery thing with the black undies on. Yuck.
No I don’t like how Gwen is dressed and Padma looks cheap.
