Paula Abdul got caught at the airport getting on a flight to Cancun and she needed a little help keeping her balance. Must be the shoes. She’s with a guy who has been identified by readers as Jimmy Demers, and he’s NOT a boyfriend. In fact, he’s an old friend of hers from the 80’s who is described as a really good singer and he happens to be gay. That means she’ll definitely have fun on THIS vacation.

i guess that means she is not with JT anymore then? since she goes on vacation with a friend.. i assume it will be a short trip, i bet she will be back home to watch her cheer show on saturday
JT’s meeting her there. They show MTV in Mexico so she can watch from there.
she is so cute. But its ashame how she goes on her own vacation whereas all the idol guys seems to go to simons place in barbados. I would assume (hope at least) he invited her too but she passed. she clearly wants to keep her distance and I think its a shame. i think they really love her but she doesnt let them in.
Only Ryan is going on vacation with Simon from Idol. Randy and Paula spend time with their friends and family.
I think this says more about Ryan and Simon’s relationship than on anything else. File this under gay.

I just have to say that im soo sick of jt. i mean im sure he is a nice guy and all but all he ever does is stand like 10 feet behind her and stare with those dead eyes. he comes across as her bodyguard, not her boyfriend. i mean like i said, im sure he is a nice dude and its her life, but seriously… he has No personality and i think she deserves better than that. she deserves somebody who is Not a robot.
i feel bad for her you know. she is so nice and sweet and talented and the only person she has to go on vacation with is some gay guy. i wish she had a husband and children. she would deserve that. and I dont mean I want her to marry that 30 year old JT guy. I want her to meet some older guy who can make her happy like she deserves to be!
Nice to see Paula going to a vacation. She needs it. I just hope that she would go to Barbados since Cancun is on the way to Barbados.
because i am pathetic i just checked MTV mexico and they will not be showing rah this saturday (they have a totally different schedule). thats why i say paula will be back in the US by then. shes not gonna miss the airing of this show that she has worked so hard on, no the mention her new song will be previewed on it!
i know there are certain fans that want her to go to barbados but seriously… its not gonna happen. especially with ryan there. she doesnt like him very much, and who can blame her? simon is ok but ryan is typical hollywood- meaning fake. i guess Jimmy is not so bad to go with. he seems like a stable guy and not so hollywood- probably exactly the kind of person she needs after all the drama. but im still wondering whatever happened to her BFF from hey paula, daniel? he has disappeared..

Yes, Ryan is invited to Barbados with Simon. They talked about it on Ryan’s show, and it was mentioned in an article that he’d be there. No reason to rub it anyone’s face though. I’m sure Randy was invited as well, but he isn’t going.
As for the Paula fans whining about Paula not going to Barbados….get over it. Paula probably doesn’t want to go there anyways. She seems to have no problems filling her time without the almighty Simon Cowell. I don’t know whether she was invited or not, but she doesn’t seem to be going there. So…..there you are. Let it go.
And it isn’t Ryan’s fault she isn’t there either so you can just STFU with the “She hates Ryan and so do IIIIIIII!” crap. Good grief! How old are some of you ? Let’s not pretend that Paula is some sort of saint.
Thats weird she is going to Mexico! because i saw a commercial for ET which said she will go on ET tomorrow! i guess that interview will be pre-recorded then?
im not delusional, i want the best for her because she is my IDOL, ok? im not a simon fan and im definitely not into saula. but i still feel she deserves better than a 30 year old robotic boyfriend and a couple of gay friends. and im also worried that the reason she always goes with these kind of guys is because they are yes men who spoil her with compliments “oh you are amazing paula, oh you look so gorgeous”. i think she deserves somebody who tells her the truth sometimes, and im not so sure jt or jimmy will.
its sad that she has to learn everything the Hard way and that could so easily be avoided by better management. somebody that would just Tell her that “no its not a good idea to do 50 interviews when you havent slept in 6 days”, etc. oh well. i love her to death no matter what and i cant wait for all her projects next year! i love cheerleading so naturally im stoked about Rah!

I wonder what she is gonna be doing until the idol live shows kicks off? she has a whole month left. i wonder if she will go on another promo tour to promote idol? she certainly tends to make an impression when she promotes the show =)
i bet she will be working on a music video for her new song in january. and also go back to HSN. she loved HSN, she said she wants to move in to the HSN house and never leave it. which i thought was so totally adorable.
i am so happy for her she got this cheerleading show going finally. shes tried for 5 years to get one! even though it is just a special, it must still feel like such a victory for her it will finally air on TV!
JT is the best. He’s a sweet guy, who is absolutely crazy about her. He wants a family and he wants to be stable. He’s a keeper. People who hate on him are no real fan of Paula. She probably gets very disgusted with those of you who speak badly of him.

Jimmy is a gay right? So there’s no problem with Paula going with him, and I know they’re great friends since the 80’s, by the way, Jimmy is a good friend though. He supports Paula, but I still wish she was with Simon.. =) .. Cancun, Mexico is near from Barbados.. right?

I like Paula, but think she is a tad mentally unstable. Why? Because she has had failed marriges, failed relationships and is in near constant pain from injuring her back as a cheerleader. When she is written off as drunk on TV, I think it is pain pills and an alcohol mix, which is dangerous. The black 1/3 of her still likes Corey Clark….maybe.
JT left on the later flight. I wonder who else is going down. I want to go to Mexico.

U crazy Ryan haters make me laugh. Paula spends absolutely zero time with Simon socially – they work together – that is it people! I know fans want to see them together, but nobody would stop them if they wanted it themselves. There is no taboo involved in a man and a woman – both single and in their forties, dating eachother. In fact, the producers of Idol would love it.
Simon spends a lot of his own time with Ryan out of choice. Paula is never with him outside of Idol, so why would she go on holiday with him?! Christmas is a time to spend with loved ones, which is Ryan will soon be on a beach with Simon gently soothing his sunburn and erm, other things.
JT will have to meet her after the New Year. He owns some of the most popular restaurants in LA. The boy has to work. But starting tomorrow he can go get some beach time.

why is it so hard for some people to understand that Paula and JT are over? He did not go to Mexico with her, not on a later flight or any other flight.
