PRINCESS CHARLOTTE CASIRAGHI CAN’T GET HOME EITHER

If it’s any consolation to the multitudes of stranded passengers in Europe, royalty is no better off than you are. Princess Grace of Monaco’s granddaughter Princess Charlotte Casiraghi, 23, and her boyfriend Alex Dellal were stranded in Rome. Since no planes were flying due to the volcanic ash, the couple left the airport and joined the mob scene at the train station in Rome.

  1. Wow, I feel so bad for them! Maybe they can ride their unicorns home!

  2. I can imagine she wants to leave Italy as fast as possible.

  3. She looks like her mother. I hope she is more lucky in love, though.

  4. Wow platinum spoon brats can’t get home…i’ll get my Kleenex out and have a good cry for them.

  5. Is the Grimaldi curse still alive and well? It may be starting in on Charlotte, as ancient curses are very strong. Look it up: Grimaldi curse…it is a very GRIM read.

  6. Charlotte is an amazing beauty and definitely worthy of coverage on your site. But Janet: I’m pretty sure Charlotte is not a “Princess.” I don’t think she or her brothers carry a royal title in Monaco. You may want to check on that.

  7. CvilleGuy is correct.
Only one of Grace Kelly’s grandchildren currently hold a title-and it’s not even for Monaco! The one grandchild is Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra Charlotte Ulrike Maryam Virginia of Hanover, Princess of Great Britain, Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Princess Alexandra is the half sister (and goddaughter) of Charlotte Casiraghi, and is the daughter of HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover and HRH Prince Ernest August of Hanover.
