Queen Latifah and a friend were spotted leaving Crunch gym in West Hollywood and it looks like she’s taking her workouts seriously. She’s a spokesperson for beauty products so Latifah HAS to look good. Plus we hear she has a weakness for freshly made donuts. (Here’s an interesting footnote: Queen Latifah was originally hired to play the role in Monsters Ball that Halle Berry ended up doing. Scheduling problems interfered, and the part went to Halle.)

I met Queen Latifah several years ago at a TV show taping and let me tell you, girlfriend is a genuine sweetheart, no ego, very down to earth, smart and funny. I don’t care who she sleeps with, she’s a lady in my book.
