RACHEL BILSON'S INSPIRATION IS ACTUALLY DUPLICATION
Rachel Bilson just introduced her clothing line, Edie Rose for DKNY and already she’s been charged with knocking off another designer! Keep in mind that Rachel takes credit for her original designs. The photo at left taken awhile back, shows Rachel wearing a green dress designed by a little known company called Sretsis from Bangkok. The yellow dress on the right is from her new collection and it looks to be a dead ringer except for the absence of studs around the neckline. Rachel, if you’re going to knock off someone else’s design, at least pick something fabulous!Posted by hoodlum on September 29, 2008

Janet, I think you get a lot of your stories from laineygossip.com . You should reveal the source when you steal an idea, it’s only courtesy.

Laineygossip isn’t the first one to report this.
This story has been around for at least a week. It’s been making the rounds of the fashion blogs and the gossip sites have now picked it up.

Honest to goodness, put the green or yellow one on the sale rack at Salvation Army Thrift store and it might, MIGHT, sell for $2.00 on bargain Thursday. And who cares who designed it; it is not a flattering style to any figure.

I like the dress, but I don’t like her. Shame on her for thinking she can get away with blatant copying of a designer’s styles. Just because the one “she” designed doesn’t have the stuff around the collar doesn’t make it any less a forgery.
